- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Rather than offer a laundry list, it is easier and more productive for us to meet with or speak with our clients about their event ideas and for us to give them a 'ballpark quote"...so they can see if it can fit into their budgetary requirements. Since most if not all of our designs are built specifically for the client, prices have a moderate to expensive range. Straight forward receptions and simple parties are reasonable to moderate pricing based on the current cost of living. Please contact us directly so that we can evaluate your needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Of course. Every opportunity is a learning experience. Listening to the client is the single most key ingredient in a successful recipe.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Been doing it since an early age. Began helping my mother and grandmother who were the original Martha Stewart.....and learning from assisting in the kitchens and parties, and events. My educational background gave me histories - theatrical, art, culinary, etc....and now I translate them into physical realities dressing and accessorizing with the Southern grace, manner, and charm instilled by family; not to mention plain good taste.
