FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For potential buyer clients, I prefer to meet either in our office or another neutral location to discuss their needs. Buying a home is one of the largest purchases and biggest decisions someone will make in their life. It makes the process a lot smoother to have some of the bigger questions answered BEFORE you are out looking at houses and under the pressure of negotiations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am ACTIVE in taking continuing education BEYOND the mimimum required classes to earn and maintain a real estate license. Currently, I am in the process of earning the Pricing Strategy Advisor certification.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Schedule a meeting with a REALTOR before even looking at the first house with a real estate agent. It takes a lot of pressure off you as a buyer to openly discuss the hard questions up front rather than when you are in the middle of searches and negotiations. Then you have more of an idea of what to expect throughout the process rather than feeling overwhelmed by the decisions you may not know you have to make above and beyond deciding do you like or not like a house.
