When I placed my project request on Thumbtack, J. Simone Landscaping was the first to respond and Jon came out personally to go over the project with me and give me an estimate. He worked within my budget to come up with the solution that best suited my needs. We agreed on a price and scheduled the work. On the day of the job, Jon and his crew showed up early and went right to work. They did a great job and cleaned up after the job. They did exactly what the said they were going to do and went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy with the job that they had performed. One of the most professional contractors that I have worked with on Thumbtack so far and I have utilized Thumbtack for a lot of projects around my house. I highly recommend J. Simone Landscaping for any of your landscaping needs. They are not a fly-by-night business, so they are not going to be the cheapest quote that you will receive, but they will get the job done right the first time! I have tried cheaper solutions in the past and it always ended up costing me more in the long run. Trust Jon and his team to get your job done and you'll end up saving money down the road!!! Thanks Jon!!!
I had a 900 sq foot woodshop that needed drywall, OSB and paint. Roy responded very rapidly with a very competitive bid and completed the job very satisfactorily! Will definitely use Roy and his team for future work and highly recommend them!
Drywall Installation : Lee was great. Communicated well, got the job done ahead of schedule. Cleaned up, and made sure we were happy. We're hopefully going to work with him in the future.
They reflashed two chimneys that another company completely screwed up. After removing flashing, there was other unanticipated damage to roof that the other contractor covered up. Well Done repaired all damage and reflashed chimneys, working past dark for NO additional cost. Would definitely recommend this contractor.
Bob and his son showed up as scheduled and replaced the stairs in three days not counting the weekend for the concrete to set. Abba was the low bid and I have already hired them to do some grout repair. Highly recommended.
I have been trying to think of the best words to use regarding this company. First, let me say that I have terminal Cancer which does not allow the most appropriate words to flow as they once did before. I am 47 years old. For the most part of my adult life I've come to realize that it is a rarity to still be able to find a company that continues to provide such individual attention such as this business. These two men have shown me compassion, kindness, and a work ethic that is rarely still seen in today's environment. They have never been too busy for any of my questions or issues. I must say that I have a concern that a group of few Southerners will not embrace people that are from outside the tri-state area, thus not giving people from all across America a chance to prove their success. I emplore you to overlook the simplistic attitude of only doing business with the people from the South and see for yourself the astonishing work that these men are capable of doing. Without knowing, I made the job harder for them as I originally stated. I had already been given a quote for light tile and light grout. I ending up changing the work order to black tile with black grout within a solid white bathroom. The black grout was impossible to keep from not getting everywhere. While it turned out beautiful, the black grout made a huge mess against that all white bathroom. The clean up was immense. Never once did they complain. They were also very cordial to my mother and all the other visitors I had that day. It's just those small details that makes a company stand above the rest. I did have a problem that night that the tile was installed. However, the problem was not with the installation. The problem was due to my 30 year old commode. It was something that if I was given the instructions over the phone, I possibly could have taken care of the problem. In no fashion or manner were they going to let that happen. The issue occurred on their watch and they were going to make it right. They said that they would be at my house the first thing in the morning; and they were. I live in Belton, SC. The company is located in Greenville, SC. So, there was some traveling involved. They repaired the minor problem, that again arose from my commode. No other charge was incurred. I must thank them for helping me. I plan on using them for most all of the projects that I have in my mind that I would like to complete before my life ends. This company, with these two wonderful men, will play a huge part in helping me complete as many goals in my home as possible. Thank you Integrity Solutions. I see a long future in doing business with you. Sincerely, Kristy M. Cheek Kristy Cheek
Justin just completed painting my kitchen cabinets. My kitchen has been transformed from builder blah to fabulous. What a pleasure it has been working with such a professional and ethical contractor. Justin is an excellent communicator. He always let me know when he would be arriving, and what he planned to do the following day. It was a great experience working with Justin. I will definitely call him for other projects.
Travis was a pleasure to with. He communicated his estimate and availability during our initial exchange. He arrived promptly to complete the work at my home and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend him and hope to contract him for more work soon. Awesome contractor!
We are looking for a contractor specifically to install a cable style steel railing system for our existing deck. Terry at W.C. Builders told us that he only does the preparation (demo and cleanup of old railing) and sub contracts the installation of this type of railing to American Cable Rail . He was very helpful and gave us the the name and contact phone #. We are now working with American Cable Rail. We are very grateful to Terry from W.C. Builders for his professionalism and his help.
I’m from Miami, FL and frequently visit WNC to see my mom who makes Burnsville her home. I have a friend who also has a house in Weaverville but calls Miami, FL her home. Anyway, my friend asked me to help her source a contractor to fix her upstairs shower that would leak apparently through the shower pan every time it was used for more than about 10 minutes. So I called a plumber my mom had used who would make the drive to Weaverville. He confirmed it to be a shower pan issue. Well, this shower is made of mosaic tile on the floor and ceiling with white marble tile on the walls with a rail of black marble that splits the tile pattern at a chair rail height. I first sourced the marble from the vendor who originally sold it to my friend 10 years prior. They still had marble from the same source which was almost identical to the marble in the shower. Then I had to do the difficult thing which was find a person I could trust to perform the demolition, haul away the material over thickly carpeted flooring, do it neatly, on time, without and collateral damage to the remaining marble, match the old grout color and actually fix the shower pan. And do it at a fair price. Alex did all of that while I was up there taking care of this task on my own time. He was professional, extremely careful, stuck to his estimate, made absolutely certain the pan wouldn’t leak and installed a schluter pan system that we tested over and over again because we had no definitive sign of the actual leak only knowing it couldn’t be anything else by process of elimination. What a job he did for me! I’d recommend him to anyone every time and would ask him even to do work for me that he doesn’t normally do because of the type of person I discovered him to be while working in this project for me.
Rands guys did a tremendous job replacing a two story foyer light. They were courteous, on time and courageous! I will use this contractor again soon and HIGHLY recommend him!
Let me tell you, it’s hard to find good help these days! After contacting A LOT of companies and contractors, Mr Carroll was a breath of fresh air! He was available right when we needed him and he was very prompt. His price was affordable and the quality of work he did was exceptional. His work ethic shows in everything he did. He is also very trustworthy. I will definitely be referring him to friends!
Miguel and Josh painted our entire home and they did an excellent job! They all did some drywall repairs. We are very happy with their work and would highly recommend them.
We had Donnie and his team replace our driveway and side walkway. The work was done as requested, on time and very professionally. The estimate was right on, not a penny over. Donnie was always available to answer any questions. .. which were many. It was a great feeling to know that we were working with people we could trust and that the work would be done correctly. We have already hired Donnie to fence in our back yard and will certainly pass on his name to anyone who asks for a reference. Great contractor, great work, great price.
I hired CLB to make a design using 2 different colored 3/4 inch hardwood, and select their design and could not be happier!! The finished product is the best I have ever received in all my years of buying and renovating homes, and solid enough to last my lifetime. Even my wife is very pleased, and she is very particular as to workmanship as she has personally renovated houses in the past in a number of cities. Pricing was very fair and lower than other bidders outside of Thumbtack. We also hired this company to enclose our backyard with a 100 running feet of a wooden privacy fence with a double gate on both sides of the house. Gates are strong enough to swing on and will definitively be long lasting through many years. Once again, we receive a superior installation with a number of features that other contractors would not even have not thought to offer. HIRE this contractor who has built many houses and is GREAT for renovation projects of many types.
Scott's Drywall service was great! We arranged the quote and appointment via the Thumbtack messenger facility. Scott communicated the day before and arrived on time. His work was exemplary; very meticulous. After the sanding, the repaired walls were fully paint ready. The damaged sections looked like new. There was even another minor unplanned fix needed for a baseboard replacement. Although he didn't have a mitre saw with him, he used a standard skill saw to make 45° cuts. That's very tough to do accurately this way and the results were seamless. He and his assistant handled this while the mud was drying. Both jobs were reasonably priced. I'd gladly call him back for more work in a heartbeat.
I had a long list of expectations when the need for a contractor came into my life after the recent tornado in our area. I wanted one that would put a quote in writing, one that was licensed, boned and insured and one that was willing to work with the claims adjuster if need be. I found exactly that in Action Building Services. They came out gave written estimate which became a contract when I hired them. The price never went up. Being a single woman I didn't want to be home alone with men I didn't know but after the first day they became like friends I had known forever. Everything they promised they deliverd. They said a week, they finished in 3 days. They did work well with the claims adjuster and they work well as a team. Not only am I pleased with their quality of work but I am very pleased with their professionalism. I don't give them 5 stars I gave them 10 stars. Not only do I recommend them but I am re hiring them to do another project next month. If you are in need of a contractor I encourage you to hire them you won't be disappointed. I want to take this opportunity to thank the crew from the bottom of my heart you guys are awesome, see you next month.

First and foremost I try to treat my clients the way I would want to be treated if I were paying someone to do the job my client is paying me to do. I will complete the project as specified or stay as long as need be to get the clients satisfaction of a job well done. My craftsmanship and attention to detail standards is higher than a lot of builders I have seen in the last 10 years. Do you really want to hire an outfit that employs only recently entered immigrants at $5/hour to do a job you expect to last at the least 5 years. Well, most GC's do that now and charge you the same no matter what so they can make more money. If a GC pulls up to your project driving a 2016 $60,000 fully loaded Ford Diesel Truck, and his crew pulls in behind him all crammed into an old 1984 Chevy beater work truck, that should be a clue. These immigrants are even told not to put the required amount of fasteners (nails, screws, staples, etc.) that code requires just to pinch even more pennies from you. The GC will still charge you the same amount as if they had followed building codes and not pass the savings on to you.
