FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The YMCA sets their own pricing. Typically it is $35/hour with packages of 6-12 that provide additional discounts as well as the option of semi-private coaching as well. At Fitness World, I charge $25/hour. It is preferred, for motivational and accountability purposes, that you purchase more than one session at a time, therefore I offer a continuing special of buy 5 sessions, get 1 free. I will offer additional specials throughout the year as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
An initial free consultation and assessment is conducted before the appropriate programming is created. We may also work together on nutrition and wellness tips for outside of the gym as well if that is desired.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am working on my corrective exercise specialization (or CES) via NASM. It is one of their most highly sought after specializations as it not only furthers your education on basic principles of personal training but also teaches you how to correct muscle imbalances in clients. Proper bodily function and mechanics is essential to prevent injury in any client of any age!
