The painting was ok, but the communication was not. We asked for a bid on painting two accent walls and hanging some picture price 100 ... after painting the wall the person asked my husband to go to lunch and that he was paying. My husband refused several times until he was talked into going to lunch. The worker joked to my husband, your wife is paying lunch,. ( never said that) then between my husband and the worker they couldn't decide on how to hang the pictures. I was on the phone with the worker who said he would come back Saturday to hang the pictures. Saturday rolls around I send a text 10 as a reminder and I get a text from the worker it will an additional 35.00 . I mention he never mentioned that when I talked to him on the phone and I believed he was going to come back to finish the job. I was sent a texted saying .." Let me break it down for you" the worker mentioned the paint job was 100 and picture hanging more, and since he got lunch for my husband that would be an additional 35. I thanked him and said please don't come out. My lesson learned. I have been with thumbtack for over a year and over all have been happy with the qaulity of worker who answer's my work ads. I learned to pay for only the work done. I do read the reviews but I will now write down everything that needs to be completed and use a checklist to ensure we check the job off after its completed. Lesson learned. Get worker to put it in writing. And check the work. Don't let the guy buy lunch.

You should have marked or measured where you would like the pictures to be hung, your husband didn't know either where hang the pictures. Your husband called you at work and he still didn't know where to hang the pictures. I didn't want to hang them on the wrong place. The quote was for one trip. I only charged you the basic trip charge to Hendersonville to hang them. I painted 3 walls for $100.
