Jacki is a genuinely kind and caring person. She takes the time to find out what areas to focus on and if there are any injuries, recent surgeries or anything you do not like. She is very experienced and knowledgeable in many massage techniques. I have to say it was the best massage I ever had! I'm definitely going to be a regular customer! Catherine O.

I wanted to surprise my parents with a massage for their 50th anniversary. I wanted to find someone that would travel to our hotel. She was great! My dad has a lot of aches and pains and said that she was able to relieve some of it! My parents loved their massage and are now going to get massages regularly!

Jessica is a highly skilled professional massage therapist. I’ve had a massage once a month for several years because it helps with my spinal stenosis. By far Jessica is the best therapist that has ever worked with me. I wish that she lived in my city because I would had all of my massages at her business. Brian

I came to this Michal, hoping for some help in healing physical tensions brought on by stress brought on by a re-surfacing of traumatic past events. My muscles were tight, my emotions were turbulent, my energy was low, and my joints kept creaking and cracking. I was received warmly by Michal as usual you see this was the 3rd time I had been to her, I can pick from about 10 scents which massage oil I would like used in my massage, but I fell in love with one the last time I was there called Lotus Love so I brought my own bottle with me. I was quickly seen by my Michal. The massage she gave me addressed all of the issues I mentioned above. It was so relaxing and healing that I fell in a zen like sleep during the massage and woke up to realized I had been drooling. I don't drool in my sleep. My sleep is never so relaxing as the experience I had here. I recommend this place to anyone. She herself is a unique experience such a lovely soul. Can't wait till my next visit!!!!!

Absolutely fantastic massage experience. Probably one of the best massages I’ve received that I can remember. Also, incredibly effective. I had been struggling with extremely tight shoulder, neck, and back muscles. After an hour, I was so relieved and hadn’t felt so relaxed for a while. Also, I really appreciated the convenience of having The massage in my home. It is worth every last dollar and I definitely plan on using Morganic’s Mobile Massage in the future

    Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

    What is Thai massage?

Thai massage, also called Thai yoga massage, combines acupressure and assisted yoga postures. Thai massage is based on the flow of energy through the body and focuses on energy lines called “sen.” It doesn’t use oils or lotions and, instead of rubbing muscles, the massage therapist compresses, pulls, stretches and rocks the recipient’s body to promote the flow of energy through these sen. In this form of massage therapy, practitioners use their hands, knees, legs and feet to apply deep muscle compression and stretch the body. It’s often performed on a mat on the floor instead of on a massage table. Like most forms of massage, Thai massage is used to relieve stress, improve range of motion and enhance flexibility. Some people also use Thai massage to address a range of health issues, including:

    • Relieving tension headaches
    • Decreasing back pain
    • Reducing joint stiffness and pain
    • Stimulating circulation and lymphatic drainage
    • Boosting energy

Because a traditional Thai massage session covers all of the muscles in your body, it typically lasts 90 minutes to 120 minutes.

How much do you tip a massage therapist?

All forms of massage therapy, from Thai massage to Swedish massage to deep tissue massage, are similar to other spa or hospitality services. So it’s appropriate to tip a massage therapist the standard hospitality rate of 15 percent to 20 percent of the cost of the session. For example, the national average cost for a deep tissue massage is $70-$90, so expect to tip $12-$18. Of course, you can always tip more or less depending on your experience, especially if you’ve opted for extra services. For example, expect to tip more for a couple’s hot stone massage session that includes aromatherapy. Also, if you’re paying with a gift certificate or coupon, or purchasing a discounted multi-session package, make sure to calculate your tip based on the full price of the massage.
