"She was especially willing to help us choose food options that were different from our wedding reception food (catered by another company). Carmen worked to make sure we had aspects of our colors and our wedding "mood" (rustic, low-key, but still with some sophistication) mixed into the decor at the dinner, which she provided suggestions based on the arrangement of the venue and what we wanted the feel of our evening to be. We had a lot of restricted eaters (vegetarians, gluten-free, soy-free, diary-free, paleo, etc) and she was able to create a buffet style meal that met all our guests needs. The guests (and us) absolutely loved the food - it was delicious, fresh, consistent, and flavorful. Often times when cooking in bulk, it's easy to get dried out food items- particularly with chicken and salmon, two items we had. This was absolutely not the case here - the chicken and fish were moist and yummy. The mac and cheese was the talk of the night, with many people wanting a whole pan for themselves. Carmen also had a dessert bar, which was tasty and had a great selection. We really appreciated everything Carmen and her team put together that evening, and all of our guests had a fantastic time, which made us happy! Thank you Carmen and team for such a wonderful kick-off to our wedding weekend!"
