Latest Review: Alex was the officiant for our winter vow renewal in the mountains this month, and there just isn't enough I can say to convey how amazing he made it. It was more beautiful than even our wedding. The ceremony he wrote and conducted for our vow renewal was everything I had hoped our wedding ceremony had been years ago and made renewing our vows that much more wonderful. I didn't show the ceremony he wrote to my husband or anyone ahead of time because I wanted them to experience it in the moment. It paid off, as several of our guests, including men, cried during the ceremony. Afterward, several remarked at how touching it was.
We'd experienced family tragedy recently, and I can, honestly, say Alex's words healed so much of the pain of loss I'd been experiencing lately. He made our vow renewal all we'd hoped for and even more. He came early, was immensely calming in the anxiety beforehand and helped me to relax and take it all in during without having to worry about memorization or pacing or time or anything accept my husband and the beauty of our reaffirmation of our commitment to one another. He had beautiful text and wrote touching words for all the aspects we'd wanted incorporated, including even the handfast ceremony and ring warming. He spoke to my son during the vows and incorporated him into the commitment to our family. He acknowledged those dear to us who'd lost and couldn't be there with us, and he acknowledged our guests and how much they mean to us.
Alex has a talent for making the commitment of one's vows the focus of any wedding, so that it's not lost in all the planning, stress and activity of the day why you're there to begin with. I have been around ministers all my life, but I have never met anyone like Alex. You will leave your wedding focused, committed, full of love and feeling like you've made a caring friend for life. If we lived in the area, we would've joined Alex's church even though we're not religious. There's something about him that just makes you want to always stay in touch. I've been to many weddings, and I know the importance of choosing good vendors to make your vision a reality. But, in the midst of your selection, be sure to book Alex as your officiant. Should everything else go south, his ceremony and presence will leave you with beautiful memories. That he has a low rich voice made for radio is just a bonus.
