Angela is wonderful! She has a bunch of experience, and still sings professionally, which is awesome and what I really wanted in a singing instructor. One lesson and Yhe progress I've seen is like day and night! I can't wait to continue!
James not only teaches music, but teaches you to love it, understand it, and embrace the creativity within. He is by far a gem in the rusty world of lessons, as the classes are more free flowing and open then the traditional "trying-hard-to-actually-enjoy-this" type. You can immediately conclude when walking into the studio that he is a true lover of music... all music, and all instruments! I had a lot of fun and plan on taking more lessons in the future. Overall, I highly recommended Music People Studio for all ages, levels, and interests. Thanks again James!
My experience with Star Globe was amazing! We covered an abundance of warm up exercises and other techniques in our first session. I felt very comfortable with Jay and the relaxed environment that he provides. He is very professional and offers a variety of services from vocal lessons to song writing and studio time. I look forward to seeing my progression and everything that I will accomplish with the help of Star Globe! I definitely give 2 thumbs up!!
I enjoyed how Sherry Blevins integrated reading, writing, guitar lessons, and reflections into a fantastic class that made me a better teacher. I use music as much as I can in my classes. The children respond greatly to music and love seeing their teacher being silly. I would gladly seek Sherry Blevins to teach me how to play another instrument. She is kind, fun, and professional. Everybody will learn and have a blast in her presence.
I take violin lessons with David Lebel and Piano lessons with Dr. Valarie Valois at Musicians in Motion. Both of them are very knowledgeable, patient and encouraging instructors. I enjoy and look forward to my lessons and feel that I am learning a lot from them.
I have been taking piano lessons from Jean for about five months. As an adult student who had never had any music training, I wasn't fully sure what to expect, but I had always heard great things about Jean. I can say that my experience thus far has been outstanding. Jean is a great teacher, is very knowledgable, and does an excellent job putting together a practice plan that is challenging but also sensitive to everything else I have going on in my life. I would highly recommend Jean to young and old alike who are looking to learn the piano.
Gary is awesome!! He is very talented, playing several instruments. I took guitar lessons from him - believe me, he is patient! Very good instructor; he doesn't just teach how to play songs, he teaches the instrument, how it works. I highly recommend Gary!
Robert is an exceptional vocal instructor. He clearly makes his points and offers understandable explanations. Lessons are enjoyable, as he is patient and encouraging. Well worth your time and investment.
They helped with taking deeper breaths when I sing. The quality was amazing! Nothing went wrong at all
Working with Jeffrey is excellent, the time flies by and you learn a lot, he makes you comfortable through all of the exercises and has great feedback and modifications to make. I highly recommend taking voice lessons with him.
Great experience! My son has grown interest working with Dean and improving his piano skills. Thanks for your guidance Dean!
Ben is a great guitar player. In my opinion, One of the best in several counties. He sings great and is always early for the gig. I have played with Ben for years and I have learned so much by picking with him. His Band is also great.
My daughter has taken piano lessons with Tina for almost 2 years. She has learned and improved so much during this time. Tina's teaching style makes the lessons fun for my daughter but she is learning a lot as well. We couldn't be happier.
I took voice lessons with Brad for a year, over which I found my voice had vastly improved. Not only did he use personalized exercises designed to target the weaker parts of my singing, but he also selected songs with me that explored my entire range, pushed me to improve, and that I just really enjoyed singing. Our work together was challenging and very rewarding, I only wish I could have stayed for longer!
Beverly Laney is an amazing music teacher. One who simply heard her middle school choirs would think they were listening to a college group. I highly recommend Beverly Laney to teach music to all those who really want to sing well or further their music knowledge.
As a child I used to sing but stopped when my voice changed. I had no music training in over 25 years so I was very much a beginner. Her studio is clean, comfortable and well light with a big window. Our first lesson she listened to my goals and we talked about the types of music I would enjoy singing. Kristin and her teaching methods are very reassuring. When my progression has become stuck she often has fun games or exercises to work through it. We've done this for mental blocks and learning what throat/tongue/breathing muscle placement. We've discovered my range & worked through a increasingly challenging set of songs to exploit it in the year I've been a student. As an adult male student I would very much recommend lessons from Kristin. She's very knowledgeable, patient and fun to learn from.
I'm in the personal development and self-leadership business. I teach women and young ladies how to perform with grace.
Whatever your reasons in looking for singing lessons, I can help you. Whether you are exploring different hobbies, lessons for your child, or you are preparing for an audition, these singing lessons will help you reach your goal! Specializing in contemporary music style, rock, soul, RnB, etc., I want you to get the most out of each session, teaching in a non-judgmental, relaxing and supportive environment to make you feel comfortable and confident with your vocal ability. Lessons can be arranged in the comfort of your own home. Each lesson is structured for the individual, so I offer a free 30-minute consultation where we can discuss exactly what you would like to get out of your singing sessions. Lessons are for you, so we can work on whatever you need, brush up on techniques, build your confidence, extend your range, falsetto voice, chest voice, breathing, mic technique, pitching, performance, tone, audition skills, strengthening your voice, a general improvement, the list is endless! I like to incorporate vocal recordings into the sessions. It makes an exciting addition, but it also enables you to hear your improvement over the weeks! You don't have to do recording, but it is extremely beneficial. Any songs that we work on can be produced and mastered, and put on to a CD which you can use as a demo, or you can give as a gift to family and friends. You will be shown many techniques that help to build up your voice, so you can sing in the way you like to. Lessons are $40 an hour. This is based on one-to-one coaching. If you are interested in group sessions or for a longer duration, then please feel free to contact me. I also offer prepaid bulk session packages which include a 15% discount. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
I am a passionate 18-year-old who has attended All-County and All-State Chorus six times. I have been singing classically since the age of 12 and am very familiar with classical pieces. I have an extensive range, making it possible for me to teach alto 1/2 to soprano 1/2. I am familiar with the audition processes and reading music. I specialize in teaching middle high school students.
I am a choral and piano teacher at Cuthbertson High. I was a competitive dancer while growing up and am experienced in tap, jazz, clogging and lyrical/modern. I am currently teaching beginning up to level-4 advanced piano. I am trained in classical singing and also available for vocal coaching in popular and Broadway type singing.
I get results.
