I signed up for the program but then due to some unforseen circumstances was unable to go through. I was charged for the first month before starting the program. I was told to send a letter in and my account would be cancelled. I sent the letter in and was told that I would be reimbursed for the classes I didn't attended because I never started the program. I was then told that they did have to charge me for the meal plans I'd received. I let them know that I had never received the meal plans but they magically appeared after that phone conversation. Today I received a letter in the mail that they had tried to charge my account again and it had been denied. Very poor business ethics. The program might good but they're not very good business people.
LegacyFit's reply
Hey Sarah, The program you signed up for was the 16 week challenge. This challenge was a 16 week contractual membership between you and the weight-loss challenge company and was to be held at our facility here at LegacyFit. The contractual obligations of the challenge were expressed both verbally and in writing at the initial signing of the agreements explaining the rules of the program in which (you) as the member, were obligated to complete 12 classes a month for the duration of the full 16 weeks. At which your payment of $49 would be deducted monthly. The only reasons you would be able to terminate you 16 week agreement would be physical injury and inability to perform exercises, or relocation to city outside of your current location during sign up. I am sorry you are unable to make your classes because of your current schedule, and also we apologize for you having a bad experience with the marketing company , but we (LegacyFit) would be happy to help you get back on track whenever you are ready.

I joined LegacyFit beginning of June 2016. I lost 40lbs in the first 3 months. I am enrolled in personal training with Dominic and could not ask for a better trainer. He is always pushing the limits and encouraging me to push mine. Keeping my body in a constant state of muscle growth. My max lifts continue to go up week after week. I have been in and out of different gyms over the last 15 years, but for the first time I have found a place I call home. I don't see myself working out anywhere buy here! Above and beyond the people here are always encouraging, even form the first day I never felt out of place or judged. We are always pushing each other to keep going and never stop striving to be the best versions of ourselves!

I had a similar experience as Sara, joined the weight loss challenge with the assumption I could cancel after 16 weeks. I had knee surgery and was unable to start but I figured I signed up for it so I would pay for the initial program, even though I couldn't use it. Go to cancel after the 16 weeks and was told because I didn't go to 3 classes a week I couldn't cancel. Beware if you sign up for their BS challenge, you have to go 3 times a week or you are locked in for a year, make sure you read the fine print very carefully, The steroid enhanced salesman they bring in to sell tis program doesn't even work there he is a salesman. He is a good salesman. Its sad people have to do business this way. After posting this review, Dom called me, we worked things out. It was Stand Up for him to call me, the reason for the initial review was because I felt I was being pushed aside, this was because of the billing and promotion company and doesn't reflect on this business, Dom did what I thought was fair I will re-review after a few classes

I just noticed a response from the owner on my review. "Slightly injured myself" he says. Since when is a broken fibula which required surgery, a plate and 8 screws, a minor/slight injury!? For beginners there was no orientation, no warm up, my trainer was actually the person they partnered me with who turned out to only have been there twice before, so when I got injured in the first and only class I attended, the owner me told to get up and walk it off!!!!I've had to write way to many emails in attempt to get him and the billing company (NAC) to do the right thing and fix the billing. 5+ months later I am still dealing with billing issues with this company. No apology for my injury, nothing except a hard time and more aggravation to do their billing scam!!!If the owner isnt able to delete negative reviews then where is my review on FaceBook?---Owner is unethical and needs to significantly improve customer service. After signing the contract I couldnt get ahold of the company via texts, emails or voice mail messages. The owner had my negative review on another site removed which makes me seriously question how many other reviews he has had removed. If he is having multiple negative reviews removed his ratings would appear to be higher than they should be.The sales person told us there would be multiple trainers per class which was also not true.I was seriously injured and no one even helped me out of the gym or to my vehicle.
LegacyFit's reply
Hello Natalie, As we have already addressed your current situation personally and how you injured yourself slightly, I would like to address the allegations you are making towards the facility. LegacyFit has responded to all 22 of your emails that were sent in reference to your situation and helping you through your process. In addition, we have yet to document a text or voicemail from you in the last 3 months so there is a possibility you were calling the wrong facility. As far as negative reviews being removed, it actually is not possible for us to do so. Sites like Google & Facebook do not allow business owners to delete reviews regardless of rating. However, when someone makes multiple fake accounts to put numerous reviews and continuously harasses a business, they will take matters into their own hands and remove all negativity as they did in this example. We welcome all opinions and reviews as it helps us to grow as a business and improve business quality and experience for our members.
