About this pro
I get it. You are intimidated by classes of lithe, thin, flexible people who can seem to do any pose and you can't see your toes much less touch them. Getting down on the floor requires planning so you have enough support to get back up. Knee to nose? Oh, that's cute! No. I have been there and I am still there! Yoga is for everyone and, I believe, more than anyone else, yoga is for those of us with a few extra pounds here and there or those of us who are so stiff we feel like the Tin Man all the time. I really know where you're coming from and have the same insecurities and feel self-conscious about myself. BUT, I am here to tell you that a regular yoga practice will change your life! Are you ready to try yoga? Contact me and let's get started! Seeing people discover what they CAN do that they thought was impossible. Watching fellow yogis radiate light and seeing them feeling confident and feeling good about themselves is such a blessing and privilege! I am humbled by the gifts of sharing yoga.
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? For my menu of services with prices, please visit my website.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a perpetual student. From weekend workshops, to special class series, to continuing education, I am always learning. By remaining a student, I believe I am able to provide better experiences for the people with whom I practice.
- How did you get started doing this type of work? After years of dealing with fibromyalgia and then getting a diagnosis of Facet Joint Syndrome, I returned to yoga as therapy and to heal with my spine doctor's blessing. Almost two years later, I am no longer taking medication for the fibromyalgia and have not had a major FJS flare up in over a year. Making yoga part of my personal life led to the desire to share yoga with others. If I have gained so much benefit, I want to share that with the world!
