In the middle of a remodel of the kitchen and replacing carpet in dining and living room with hardwood. The floors are complete and he did a fantastic job. I grew up in the construction business and know quality. Mark is a quality guy who does quality work. He is building my cabinets now and will begin the tear out next week. He is very good to respond to questions and issues. I highly recommend him.
Terry and his crew were great! We had three rooms painted and two rooms floored (with hardwood), plus some other miscellaneous fix-up tasks. Everything was finished in time for us to move into our new house and enjoy the updates immediately. We can't wait to host friends, family, and new Memphis colleagues and know that their work will garner many compliments! Love the changes and love how this new (to us) home feels like our own already. Thanks, Terry!
I had several things going on in my home, I opened up one room by having wall knocked out. My ceiling had popcorn finish which was coming loose, Amp'd Interiors removed popcorn and finished with a texture. I'm very happy with the work and how clean he kept my house during this process.
AD and his team were great. They came and installed all new solid hardwood in my living room and dining room. They did so well that we have already discussed another project that we plan to begin shortly.
Had a room with old wood paneling that we wanted to update the look of with new paint. Looks like a brand new room, did an excellent job with professionalism and great customer service. Will be our go to guy for painting and other home redesigns from now on.
Justin Hammond and his workers from J&J performed an excellent service for me. They painted two rooms, hung three ceiling fans and four lights. I intend on using them again this spring to put up a fence.
Ok where do I start from? David Conrad is one of a kind..... My husband found him on thumbtack and of course my antennas went up... I was suspicious from day 1(after all u can't find good workmen via the Internet , right?) Ohh soo wrong....Our very first project dec 2014, was converting our carpet stairway to hardwood, then repairing the ceiling in the laundry room, then converting our unused attic space into a full bedroom suite with bathroom/toilet, and extending the upstairs hallway, then painting the bedrooms upstairs, then creating a laundry chute, then redoing the kitchen backsplash ....... (Unfortunately unable to upload pics with my review)..... David did all of these projects with integrity and he always gave a fair price we never felt cheated. And did I say the finished work of every single one of these project was flawless, obviously, otherwise we won't keep re-hiring him... He is easy to reach via text, calls and will respond promptly to your needs.... He would come back to any project until you are 100% satisfied with the work... He listens and is very good at taking your vision and making it a reality.....Go ahead and hire Mr Conrad and you won't be disappointed ...... It's ok, you can thank me later..😊 I have referred him to family, friends, colleagues, but I felt we owed it to thumbtack to leave a review here, thank you thumbtack for helping my family find a great "Jack of all trade" who happens to be very good at them.... Kenny Keele and his crew did an excellent job replacing my kitchen cabinets, counter tops and back splash. They removed my fur downs and moved an air vent to make room for taller cabinets. They replaced the lighting and upgraded my electrical outlets. They were respectful of my home and schedule and were overall very pleasant to work with. I look forward to working with them in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to renovate their kitchen.
They painted my whole house for a very reasonable price. They even took the time out to place tile in my kitchen, breakfast area, and laundry room. Vernice and Tim really made my house look like a brand new house. I definitely recommend them to anyone for any upgrades or changes you want to do to your house. They are reasonable in price, persistent, and fast. I will most definitely use them again.
Let me be clear, they in no way compensated me for this review that is about to be submitted. I placed an ad through Thumbtack for the creation of a door that was not necessarily done before. Due to space constraints, I wanted a pocket door, but didn't want to cut the wall, so I settled on a barn door, but wanted it split as to save space on either side. When I called Steve Miller, he said emphatically, "yeah, I think we can do that". He and Dave (one of his workers came) and after hearing my idea, you could tell the ideas were percolating. He came up with a great idea for the split barn door and gave me options of whether to go cheap or if I wanted it to be perfect what it would be (I chose the latter). To be honest, the price was well under what I thought it would be by many hundreds of dollars. I also asked about replacing the front door, of which he said was no problem. Steve guided me to the find the best wood people in town to make sure I got a quality product and made sure I got the best prices. All was set and done until I removed an embedded counter that showed broken tile and sheetrock underneath. No matter. . .Steve was able to fit that in as well. His tile guy, Nick, was phenomenal and was a true artist and professional in his work. They set the tile, fixed the grout, fixed the drywall and replaced the baseboards. It looks completely brand new. While doing this, they were able to install the new door, create the new split barn door (with Julie, who is an artist and visionary in her own right) leading the design of it. Even though I was a bad client (adding more jobs on top one right after the other), it was done better than when I bought the house. Steve is a great boss to his people. He treats them well, and more importantly, he respects and values their opinions and help. They revere him and it shows in the quality of work and efficiency of which the tasks were completed. More importantly, when you see their minds work (including Steve as the architect), it is like watching real artists work, not just laborers. They take great pride in their art and I am extremely happy with the products. When it was all completed, the price was not commensurate with the quality of work involved. He could have charged me a few hundred dollars more and it would have still been a value. Steve Miller and his crew are top professionals and I guarantee that anytime I need a project done, they are number one on the list. You will not go wrong hiring them and I can promise it will be an enjoyable experience for all.
Mr Belleau did an exceedingly professional job, which included emailing a professional estimate, invoice , and warranty. Each job was done quickly and beautifully. Jobs included designing and building laundry room shelves, and putting shelves in a closet. He also repaired drywall and a popcorn ceiling, as well as fixing bathroom fixtures and unclogging a tub that had been unused for years. Mr. Belleau was friendly, quick, and respectful of our home. We would call for his services again!
Noria and Joe did the remodeling for my Magnolia Restaurant in Byhalia. All the tile work, tearing out and putting up walls, sheetrock and paint and installed the big picture windows. They also painted the floor in the dining room. All the work was preformed in a timely manner and I know of at least one evening they were working at 1 am in the morning, getting a coat of paint on the floor. They installed the water heater, replaced busted water pipes. These folks cleaned up behind themselves, always on time and even when the materials came in for another job and they had to leave me for a half day to finish a job before me, they more than made it up. I would highly recommend them and invite you to look first hand at the work they did for me in Byhalia.
I live out of town, so I had Brian come to my mother's house to help her with numerous small items, e.g., replacing the shower head, fixing some cabinet doors, etc. First of all, his work was excellent. My mother was thrilled with his quality of work and even plains on retaining him for some other tasks. This is what stands out to me: 1) He's honest. I can't emphasize that enough. You never need to worry that he's taking advantage. 2) He's highly skilled. Apparently he has extensive experience in the construction industry, so this isn't just some college kid with a hammer. He can skillfully do a professional job, because he's actually a professional at this. 3) He has good judgement that you can trust. Even when a part needed replacement, he very carefully spelled out which parts he recommended and why. He sent me several options. I could tell that he's reasonable and goes for quality. He won't have you paying simply for a name, nor simply give you something cheaply and poorly made. You can trust his judgement on these matters. 4) He's thoughtful and considerate. Because he knew that I lived out of town, he volunteered to send before and after photos of his work to give me peace of mind. 5) His communication is timely and thorough. He always lets you know when he will contact you, and you can count on him doing it. Even remotely, I always felt I had a pulse on what had been done, and what remained. He also responded quickly and thoughtfully to all of my communications. 6) His work is timely and thorough. He comes when he says he will. He follows up as promised. And he does what he says he will do. 7) He has a great work ethic. He refused to accept payment upfront, insisting that he be paid only after the work was finished, and up to our standards. That speaks volumes! 8) He makes it easy. From payment to coordinating times and what needed to be done, he went out of his way to be accommodating, and he made it the entire process quite painless. 9) Apparently, he's charming. My mother simply adores him and his fiancée. 10) Lastly, he simply goes above and beyond to leave the customer happy.
He has done awesome work in my house with painting my 2 youngest sons rooms and all trim work! I highly recommend him for any needs with painting :)
Richard Borland constructed two 9 foot x 5 foot built-in bookcases for my great room. They were expertly designed and are beautiful. I am very pleased with how they turned out and will definitely use Richard in the future.
I contacted Robert and SOS construction services to install a section of cedar fence on our property. The quality of their work and attention to detail is outstanding and we could not be more pleased with the finished product. Thank you!
He installed tile in all the rooms in my house. He was very professional and did a great job at a fair price.
Mr. Joe has done amazing work on both of my homes. He constructed a brick flower bed to accent the front of my home. At my other residence, he has done an exceptional job at painting rooms, replacing storm and entry doors, fixing crown molding, and installing beautiful laminate.
Painting room extensions is something that David is good at. This professional is dedicated to maintaining quality work and customer satisfaction.
