It's been a good relationship working with Paula in learning to play piano. I am an older student (over 60), learning how to play piano, She has varied my music, and is very responsive to what I am learning. Paula's lessons also include music theory and technique. I appreciate having her as my teracher

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Lessons are usually bought in a tuition cycle of 4-30 minute lessons. These lessons are typically done 30 minutes per week. Of course scheduling can be set up custom to the customer wishes. The customer is due for the next tuition cycle on lesson #4 if they wish to continue, paying in advance to retain their lesson time slot.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The first lesson is often a knowledge and skill assessment of the student, assessing their strengths, and how I can help them improve in their knowledge and skillset. When they leave the lesson there is a homework assignment for them to practice for the week.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am an AVC graduate of the Commercial Music Program. I also have been a musician most of my life. Music comes from my soul, and I enjoy teaching very much.
