FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing for an installation can vary depending on the structure of the home and circumstances such as whether electrical is needed as part of the installation. Often those who give a blanket price for installation cut corners because they didn't establish specific criteria before the installation began and were only focused on getting approval not clarity on the wants and needs from the client. Thus the "cheapest" quote often escalates or corners are cut to meet the quote. I always suggest an in person estimate to guarantee the quote is accurate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1# We always start with qualifying. 2# Set expectations for the beginning and completion of the job 3# Clean up installation site 4# Give a tutorial and answer questions
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have MSCP and LVCP certifications from over 65 companies. Each year I attend at least 100 hours of continual education for emerging technologies and or integration and installation techniques.
