Jacob is great! I've been doing singing lessons with him for the past few months and I am already better then I was, and am more confident than I was!
We really enjoyed Kristen! She seemed to know the music business well and shared her experiences with us. Kristen tailored her lessons to my daughter's needs, and I was able to see improvements quickly. I would definitely recommend Kristen.
Brian teaches my two sons to play the electric guitar. The kids love their lessons and are always given honest feedback. Brian is an enthusiastic, positive instructor. He makes learning the guitar fun for the boys while they are making steady progress in their skills.
My girls have taken music lessons at Cedarstone for the past year. Other than some minor scheduling issues, they have had a wonderful experience and have learned so much!
I really enjoy my lessons with Ree. Right off the back I realized that Ree has been teaching singing lessons for many years just by the organized, honed structure of the lessons and their accompanying drills. I have just recently begun, but I am already making progress and I am very hopeful for the future.
Lael is an amazing teacher and person. He always brings great energy to each lesson and has inspired my kids to love the drums and music.
Annie is very good at bringing your voice to where you want it, realistically. I was able to work with her for 5 weeks and develop an audition song. I have no experience in singing, and don't have the best voice, but she helped me pick the best piece for me, and then worked with me and helped me perfect the piece by the end of the 5 weeks. She said very open to ideas, and easy to talk to. I looked forward to our meetings every week. A great, reliable, and very well-priced teacher.
Shawna taught me voice lessons. She was very patient and persistent with me, and my vocal goals. She helped me reach certain notes, by using my head voice, with confidence and precision- She is excellent. You can tell she is passionate about music and wants others to exceed in their talent. I would highly recommend her to anyone
Ms. Morrison is great to work with. I have learned a lot in a short time. She is a great teacher. She has taught me the how to tune my voice, how to breath. She goes above and beyond to help me! Anyone who choose her as a teacher has a great teacher!
Ree is a rare gem in the world of vocal coaches in Music City and beyond. Her expertise, method of instruction, and understanding of how and why the voice works make her one of the most gifted coaches I have encountered. We found her when looking for a vocal coach for our 14-year-old daughter who was new to singing and extremely shy. We knew we found a match when Ree explained her philosophy of teaching--that learning to sing is more than becoming a great singer but about personal growth, confidence, and self-esteem. What is more perfect for a younger person or any person, than that? Since beginning lessons with Ree, our daughter has truly blossomed in her vocal capability, her confidence and her understanding that she has a lot to offer as a performer and a person. Ree is patient, understanding of the courage it takes to find your voice and enthusiastic about teaching the art and craft of singing and song. I would recommend Ree to a seasoned professional, the beginner and the person who wants to sing and believes that they cannot. Trust me--you can sing and Ree will get you there. Wendi from Nashville
Angela Hurt has helped me become a better singer and a honestly better person. Ask her about her experiences, and you will quickly realize she is one of the most qualified people in Nashville to teach voice lessons, especially in the country genre. I had already been playing out professionally here and there before I found her, but I'm so glad I did. I'm a much more confident performer. I have had a few good teachers, but she is better than all of them combined. She is kind, listens, and genuinely cares about your individual successes and personal progression. I do one-hour sessions. I love going to every lesson, and I started seeing results immediately. If you're thinking twice about taking her, stop now. You won't regret it. Have fun, and don't ever stop progressing!
I've had several very good music instructors and Molly stands out as among the very best, and in many ways is the best I've had the pleasure of studying under. Molly herself is a great vocalist and a gifted teacher as well. She takes the time to learn about her students, what they are looking for and adds in what she sees as their needs. I've consistently gotten valuable lessons and even followups summarizing what we went over, what I need to work on during the week and also what to expect in the coming lesson. I am very glad to have the opportunity to work with Molly and wouldn't hesitate to encourage anyone to do the same. If progress and direction are what you're looking for in a voice lesson, sign up with her now!
Both of my children have been taking lessons (violin and piano) at The Music House for two years now and we have had a wonderful experience. Our teachers have been professional and engaged. They seem to know how to really work well with each individual child and cater the lessons to their level as well as their needs/desires. I can't recommend strongly enough!
Evan gave me some general music lessons, and I came away with a TON of knowledge I hadn't ever been taught before. He went to Berklee College of Music and is such a talented singer and songwriter, and did a great job of teaching me some tips and tricks to improve my musicianship. 10/10, would highly recommend. Also he is so hot :')
Desmond is the type of voice teacher that goes beyond hours and rates, he honestly cares about you and your voice. Desmond learns the way you talk about and describe your voice, adjusting his technique for each individual. Most of our lessons are spent laughing and progressing as musicians. This is the way lessons should be taught.
I first heard Amanda performing (singing) at the Jazz Alley in Seattle and was very impressed!! When I learned that she could teach voice lessons to my daughter (11 at the time) I immediately signed her up. Our experience was wonderful; Amanda is professional, timely and so much fun. Amanda recorded my daughter singing a song, also helped her prepare for an audition! We were very sad when we learned that she was moving away.
I started taking voice lessons when I was 65. Jaie was a phenomenal teacher during the three years I took private lessons and adapted to my learning style, which is very analytical. My range has greatly expanded. She was able to teach me the physics of singing. Even though I don’t read music I am able to adapt and relate the notes even though I don’t know what they are called. I now receive many compliments on my singing and how much I have improved. She was patient yet demanding of excellence. Her personality and positive feedback helped my progression.
~ Clip from BORO PULSE NEWS by Christi Bradford ~ Article Title: Smooth Sounds in the 'Boro: Jay Witherspoon Becoming Local Legend The man can sing anything. From country to alternative to everything in between, and he can sing it all very, very well. After learning about the album he's currently working on, I sat down with him and his producer Jerry Michael of Michael Entertainment to have a little chat. Jerry has been working with Jay developing his voice. Jay said when I met Jerry [my producer], I told him: when you find a song, I'm your piece of clay; mold me into whatever you want. Jay has some background in jazz. But always there is soul. It permeates every note. It runs through the core of his being. You can hear it in his voice; see it in the way he works a crowd: country-soul. Jerry has more to say on the subject of Jay's singing. "I've worked with some great singers and that is what Jay has developed into; he's a great singer." It's easy to agree with him. When I learned he was releasing an album very soon, in fact. I insisted on sitting down with him for the express purpose of sharing him with as many people as possible. For those of you who know Jay: you know what I'm talking about. For those of you who don't: the release of his new album will inevitably skyrocket to fame and fortune.
I may be a bit biased since Gina is my wife but as a musician myself and having watched her teach and play for years, I feel I can give a good opinion! Gina is very professional in her approach and makes learning fun for both the child and adult. She is patient and kind as she teaches but firm and kind when needed for some of the younger children. She has taught our children a lot about music, including teaching both our daughters their first piano lessons. Our oldest daughter is now an accomplished musician in her own right, playing violin, piano, cello, guitar, flute, and sings. I would highly recommend her to teach you or your children!

We build great singers! Singing Success was created by cultural icon of the vocal coaching world, Brett Manning. He started out like many singers - frustrated with the lack of results from the vocal lessons he found. After searching through many resources, vocal coaches, and methods, Brett compiled and created a few simple exercises that proved to be very effective for his own voice and every singer he taught them to. These techniques truly made singing as easy as speaking. Building on those simple foundational exercises, he began to experiment and innovate, filling in the "gaps," testing new techniques for effectiveness as he went. He eventually formulated lessons for teaching vocal tone and style, and incorporated the older exercises into his own innovative method. Brett has become a master teacher and one of the world's most sought after vocal coaches, largely because of his uncanny ability to "see with his ears," and instantly invent exercises that get astounding results. He, along with his certified associate coaches, teach voice lessons in his Nashville studio as well as Skype lessons to singers of all genres, both the undiscovered and "the best of the best." He was also a judge/mentor for the 1st season of the CMT reality show, "Can You Duet." Brett has worked with artists from Capitol, Columbia, Atlantic, Interscope, Dreamworks, Lyric Street, MCA, Epic/Sony, KMG, Word, Embassy, Gotee Records, as well as countless independent record labels. He has worked with the casts of Broadway productions of Les Miserables and Jekyll and Hyde, as well as the Broadway tour of Elton John's Aida. His client list contains winners of the world's most prestigious vocal awards, including the Doves, the CMA Awards, and yes, the Grammys. Despite having an incredible five octave range himself, Brett continues to claim "my students eventually out-sing me!" Brett has a unique perspective on the novice singer, "beginning students have the unique opportunity to build their voice free of any bad habits." In fact, it was his love for amateur singers that, after a decade of teaching private lessons, inspired Brett to begin offering vocal seminars and workshops around the nation. Brett is known for his fun, encouraging demonstrations, showing how even "brand new" singers can experience immediate improvement in the range, ease, and quality of their voice. Audience participants are awestruck when, often in less than an hour, Brett adds a full octave to their usable range. It's something you simply must see to believe!
