- What types of customers have you worked with?
As a general contractor we are capable of doing most anything and doing it well. As of now the company is doing roofs, both metal and shingles, vinyl siding, guttering, windows and metal / aluminum wraps around windows and fascia the most as the hail storm damage is still present. In addition to that we are involved in remodeling and room additions often.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I looked at a home in Bristol that had hail damage. The lady was 82 years old and I became very fond of her quickly. Very witty and just a wonderful person. She was given $2700 for her hail damage. We just wrapped it up with the insurance company and were able to get her claim from $2700 to $14,450 so she could fix her actual damage.I do and have done many supplements like this over the years but this one felt truly great because she knew she had other damage but didn't know what to do. Thats a great feeling to see the relief from her afterwords.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Never use the cheapest person. By doing that you put yourself at high risk for future issues 90% of the time. Use licensed, insured and local folks only. Never pay upfront more than half.Never pay in full until the job is COMPLETE!
