Introduction: Teaching what I love to do. It doesn't feel like work because I enjoy it so much. It's so rewarding to see a student succeed and to watch them play a song that they've wanted to play for a long time. I truly enjoy teaching others just how simple it really is to be a musician. I believe that everyone was born with a love for music. I really enjoy the new songs that my students bring to me and the constant learning that takes place in my studio. I love helping those that think they are not very musical find the hidden talent that is inside of them. I also love incorporating the technology that we have today to make the lessons even better. I occasionally use an iPad during the lesson which offers study tools for music theory, rhythm and sight reading. Music lessons are for anyone.

I have found Jennifer to be professional, caring and extremely patient with my child. Coming from a traditional piano lesson background, I was skeptical of this program, but had heard good things from friends. Jennifer answered all of our questions thoroughly. The true success is listening to my child joyfully playing the piano. She is only 6 years old and has had 13 lessons but knows more songs from memory than I do and I've been "playing piano" for over 20 years! I highly recommend Jennifer as a teacher and Simply Music's format. Jennifer has the heart of a servant teacher and she lets her students shine.

Jennifer Lyn is a wonderful teacher for piano & guitar! Her method of teaching is fun and easy. Kids and adults will love it! I have been taking piano lessons from Jennifer Lyn for over two years now and I still look forward to playing a new song every week.

Welcome, introduce myself, inquire of their needs and goals, show books and curriculum, listen to student sing or play their instrument, then continue the journey of music alongside them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Usually every year I attended the San Diego Simply Music Symposium in California. There I attend week long classes covering everything you could possibly imagine there is to discuss about music. I also read books, study theory, and take lessons myself to further improve my skills and just because I know have valuable It is to have a teacher to be accountable to each week.
