Jack Barton was a joy to work with, and I had an overall outstanding experience with his work. He did a fantastic job of fixing my Macbook Pro when I had no hope left for it. My Macbook Pro had gone to a gray screen and would not budge. After fiddling with it a bit on my own, I was able to get it to the screen with an apple symbol and a spinning wheel beneath it. However, that was as much as I could do on my own. After calling several places to see if they could fix my Mac and find a possible diagnosis for it, I went to Thumbtack to put out some feelers. Jack responded very quickly within hours of my post on Thumbtack. I took it to Jack in Nashville, TN to see if he could assess it and fix it. At that time, he was working out of a building due to the recent birth of his daughter. I was quite worried when he plugged up his USB to it and said he had never seen anything like what my computer was doing. I believe it took a total of about four days for Jack to fix my computer. The time was well spent and well worth the wait. He gave me back my computer in excellent condition with a new-to-me hard drive in it, a new up-to-date operating system loaded on it for me, and some thermal paste in it to keep the computer from overheating. Jack was professional and easy going throughout the whole experience. I liked that he was willing to talk to me about my computer and the issues that were going on with it. We stayed in contact throughout the time that he had my computer, and we discussed things about it as they came up. The quality of his work was excellent and his professionalism impressed me very much. Jack was willing to send me information on parts that he was able to find to see which ones I wanted in my computer. I liked that he gave me options to save me money instead of charging me out the wazoo for everything. I could not have asked for better service. Jack is my go-to guy for my laptop needs now. There is no need to seek any better service!
