Introduction: Hello! My name is Mark Johnson and I would love to make your special day even more special. I know you want this day to be the very best, so I do my best to exceed your expectations. I am an ordained minister fully compliant with the July 2019 TN law. I am a member of the Bridge Church and together with my wife, lead a Young Adult, College and Career Group. That is how I became an officiant. I was asked to officiate the wedding of a couple from our group. Since then, I have officiated multiple weddings in the middle TN area. Mark is an amazing person who my husband and I both know very well. We actually first met at his home, and eventually asked him to be the officiant at our wedding. He couldn’t have done a better job! Mark was so professional and very prepared with everything he was going to say during the wedding ceremony. He prepared my husband and I beforehand with what he would say and his delivery was perfect! I would recommend him to anyone as a wedding officiant!

Mark Johnson didn’t just make our wedding ceremony feel like a formality, he made it feel like how it was supposed to. Nothing short of amazing. For me and my husband this was the biggest deal of our lives, we were about to make a life long commitment. Mark understood what that meant and he didn’t take it lightly. He made the ceremony so special because he was so heartfelt about it. To him it truly was a joy to join us together before God and our loved ones. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing varies and starts at $250.00. Pricing is determined on many factors such as lead time, day of service, service size, whether I must travel far or not, etc. I am willing to discuss and work with you on pricing to meet your budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to set up a phone interview and offer a personal meeting with the bride and groom to discuss ceremony style, additional elements if any and location. I can also do this by phone if that is the only way. I then create a wedding script to meet their needs. I stay in contact up to the wedding day to make sure everything is going as planned.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an ordained minister fully compliant with the July 2019 TN Laws. I have a BS/BA from Tennessee Technological University with a major in Personnel and Labor Relations Management and minors in Psychology and English. I am a TN Supreme Court trained Rule 31 Mediator in both Civil and Family Mediation. I have completed Biblical Counseling Workshops through my church.
