Have been taking mando lessons from Willie for at least 5 years. With 3 children is has not always been easy to find time to practice, I do what I can and he is so understanding and shows patience if it has been a bad week! Great teaching with music theory and the basics...and is always positive about your playing, even if your fingers and brain aren't working together at the lesson due to performance anxiety! Definitely recommend him to anyone wanting to learn from point "A" to those wanting to perfect their skills...have had 3 instructors over the years and I rate him the highest...Aug 25, 2015

My daughter started taking guitar lessons with Willie when she was five. He is very patient and has a great style of teaching. We've been extremely pleased with all she's learned over the past year. Highly recommend him as a teacher for anyone wanting to learn to play.Aug 25, 2015
Willie is an experienced and patient teacher who makes your lessons fun and enjoyable! From the extreme beginner (as I was on the fiddle) to a more seasoned player, you will learn a mix of music theory and the all the tricks of the trade. Whether there is a certain song or style you want to learn, no problem! Willie knows it all! Don't hesitate to add the joy of music to your life, just make sure Willie is your teacher.Dec 25, 2014
Willie was a great fiddle teacher for my teenage son. Under Willie's instruction, my son picked up fiddling very quickly and he really enjoys playing. Willie has a very laid-back teaching style that is very effective. It was a great experience.Dec 18, 2014

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Price is based on a weekly 30 minute private lesson.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Evaluate their talents and create a program custom to their learning potential and progress. Building a firm foundation in the beginning is the most important process of learning to play an instrument.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Studied music theory in college. I've also been playing professionally since 1985. I've toured with my Country music artists and currently play fiddle for Mark Chesnutt.
