- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Whether it be on Thumbtack or elsewhere, it starts with the request and my "bid." Once accepted for any job, I examine the unit and verify all model numbers. From that I can get all important details such as specifications, parts availability & pricing, and known issues. Then brute force troubleshooting and diagnosis, ruling out all possible issues & determining the cause of failure. After proper diagnosis, parts ordering & repair. Regardless of financial status, I ALWAYS discuss pricing with customer and make sure they agree to size, scope, & cost of repairs before any parts are ordered & before any further work is done. Once repair is complete, testing is done to ensure 100% functionality. The customer is then called to schedule pickup or delivery & payment is collected in full.
