Rory is an extremely warm person and a master of portrait and fine art photography. His style gives each image impressive life and dimension. He plans his lighting with careful intention. I've seen him create extremely complex mixed media film projects involving custom made miniature sets that become pictures, taken of pictures, taken of pictures. All with an organic and creative end goal in mind. I've also seen him build large grip setups of 12x12 diffusion and black solids to harness and shape natural light. From highly involved projects to beautifully simple portraits, Rory always proceeds with a strong and confident creative vision. And he's always getting his hands dirty in the process; rigging, gripping, and lighting. More recently he's been expanding his skills into grip & lighting for film, which based on his experience is clearly a natural transition. Rory is a gifted artist and a welcoming soul. I can't recommend him enough.

We were a bit apprehensive about hiring a guy we had never met but my conversations with Rory made me comfortable. I am so happy we chose him. He was great working with us and our 13 yr old granddaughter. We had an old photo we wanted to duplicate with her wearing the same dress I had worn 56 years ago. He happily saw our vision and worked hard to make it happen. He made her feel very comfortable and we all love the photos he took. A wonderful experience! Thanks Rory, we really appreciate you.

Yes. Creative fee plus expenses, rentals, glam squad, assistants.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We discuss goals. I make a prescription and put together a budget to reflect what it costs to achieve a final goal. The client then can make an educated decision about whether or note to move forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Full completion of MTSU's photo program circa 2001. Protege of John Scarpati.
