- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is to listen to the clients needs, determine a course of treatment if necessary and number of sessions that I feel would be appropriate to meet the clients goal. I gather all necessary information from the client prior to the appointment date so that I am familiar with their needs before I ever arrive. I ask about any recent injuries, illness, surgeries, allergies or other issues that might affect the massage. I typically arrive at a clients home for a mobile session 20 minutes prior to the appointment time to meet the client, fill out intake forms and get set up in the location of their choice. For clients coming to my location I ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to table time to fill out intake form, discuss any areas of concern and focus.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Constantly in education mode. Having a massage license in Tennessee requires that you have continuing education hours on a regular basis.
