"Some Guy's" Wood Signs

I have nothing but positive things to say about "Some Guy's" Wood Signs and their staff. They were all very courteous, professional and customer service oriented in their practice. I visited the store to purchase a personalized wood sign to replace the one I purchased years ago from one of their competitors that had weathered and broken. I approached Mark Huninghake not having any clue as to how I wanted my sign to look. We ran through several options then I remembered I had a picture on my phone of how the other had looked. He waited patiently as I fumbled through my phone for the picture. I wanted it similar yet different than the last. I asked him if he had any Army emblems and he pulled up several to choose from. I picked out the size of the sign that I had money budgeted for and we began the process. He pulled up what the sign would look like on his computer so that I could add or subtract any unwanted details. It looked Great! When I asked when it would be available for pick up, he stated tomorrow. Not understanding why it would take so long, as I did not have to wait but an hour for the last sign I purchased, he explained that they weather treat their signs so that they do not fade or break like my other had done. I explained that we were leaving the following morning to head home and he , without hesitation, offered to drop my sign off that next morning at the front desk of our hotel in Pigeon Forge. That next morning I picked up my sign from the front desk and was amazed at how good it looked, except one thing was different. A couple minutes later I received a call from Mike making sure I had gotten the sign and that everything looked okay, which it did. He went on to state that he apologized I did not receive a military discount but that he upgraded the size of the sign as a token of his appreciation for my husband's service to this country and then thanked my family for all that we do. So would I recommend "Some Guy's" Wood Signs to others ? Without hesitation...Oct 20, 2012

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When a new customer contacts us, we go about the process of discovering what it is they are looking for in a sign. Dimension, material desired, artwork desired, etc. After we have an idea of the customer's needs we then design a proof of what their sign would look like and email it back to the customer. From that point we go through a back & forth process of adjusting their design until it is just the way they want it.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Check our competition for price and quality. After you see what they are offering then come back and see us and we will custom make a great product for you.
