I have used Jen Brookman MULTIPLE times and she has never let me down. She designed the book cover and interior layout for my recent picture book, promotional postcards, and most recently designed a logo for my business. Jen offers screenshare, which is hands-down one of the fastest and most efficient ways to get your graphics created. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended.

I hired Archangel to get some good footage of a sprawling piece of property I was selling and the video was perfection! I posted it on my website and had numerous hits within minutes inquiring about the place and had it sold by the end of the week! Also had numerous realtors asking for the drone company's contact info. because they agreed, the quality of the video is the best I've seen for a truly competitive price!! If you have a property listing that need aerial footage, this is the company to use for sure!

I found Tony Peterson when I searched for book editors in Nashville. I have a children’s book that needed proper punctuation and spelling and just an overview. I also explained to Tony that the font that I used was not consistent trough out the book. Not only did Tony take care of the editing, but he also cleaned up the font, and added page numbers and made everything look very clean and uniform. I have more projects coming up, and I will be sure to call Tony Peterson. On the completion of Tony’s work, I met with him in person and I can tell you if you need an editor in any format this is who you need to contact. Marshal Weaver

I've tracked guitars with Luther. As a the one being paid-I don' t typilcay deal with the wasted time the artists (the one who pays) get from producers and engineers. However-Luther is so efficient and masterful at all his crafts that wasted time isn't an issue. Money well spent.

Julie has handled a variety of projects--book design and typesetting, product design, web concept and design--and always delivers tasteful, targeted, and creatively practical results. One of the great things about working with Julie is that she takes direction extremely well and then produces a piece that exceeds expectations thanks to her own creative input. She is also a warm and personable team player.

Kristen designed the front and back cover of my poetry book. I gave her the photo I wanted to use and she took it from there, offering several options with various color schemes and font choices. I am thrilled with the design I chose. Kristen was timely, communicative, and professional throughout the process. A joy to work with!

It was my first project as Senior V.P. And I wanted to impress. After consulting with some larger firms, I just couldn't find what I was looking for. I met with Bobby, and he knew exactly what I had in mind. He was pleasant and professional, and made it seem like I was his only client.

She met all deadlines ahead of schedule and I know her work contributed to my marketing success. She receives my full recommendation.

Fabulous experience using Mary Carlisle as my content editor! From her timely feedback, to thourough editing, and availability through email and phone, the experience was fantastic. Mary was very honest with me in her feedback with suggestions as well as informing me concerning correct trademarking and resourcing. she offered other suggestions for the title of my book and her pricing fee was very reasonable.

They were cool under pressure, handling a camera issue with professionalism and allowing the production to continue without a hiccup. I worked with Joshua Buscher to create a video for marketing to sponsors a very expensive new book to on artists I am releasing in the fall. Josh created 4 excellent videos targeted to different audience. It has been ranked as impressive by those who have viewed it. He has also worked with me on a variety of shorter projects and his work is phenomenal. Nothing less than the best would satisfy him.

How do you hire a good grant writer?

Grants are available to nonprofit organizations, for-profit businesses that qualify for government grants, and individuals who qualify for foundation or government grants. Hiring a good grant writer can help you gain funding in your chosen field. According to the American Grant Writers’ Association, grant writers can help you research potential grant opportunities; write grant proposals, create budgets, and build budget narratives; review written materials before you submit; prepare a business plan; analyze your organization for grant competitive qualities; prepare research grants; help with 501(c)(3) applications for nonprofits; and more. Investing in the right grant writer could result in a financial win for your organization. Generally no licenses or certificates are required to be a good grant writer, but you may want to find a grant writer who has been certified (not just received a certificate of completion) by a reputable organization such as the Grant Professionals Certification Institute. Qualities to look for in a good grant writer include:

                      • Proven success writing winning grants, especially in your target area.
                      • Strong writing skills.
                      • Strong math skills and demonstrated proficiency with budgeting.
                      • Careful attention to detail — brilliant grant proposals may be rejected just for formatting errors, so you want someone who follows instructions explicitly.
                      • Expertise in your target area.
                      • Punctuality and good communication skills.

How much does a grant writer cost?

Hiring a grant writer can give you a competitive edge when applying for financial grants for your business or nonprofit organization, or as an individual. The cost to hire a grant writer can vary depending on their academic background, areas of expertise, previous grant writing success and years of experience. According to the Grant Professionals Association, grant writers should be paid hourly or by flat fee. It is unethical for a grant writer to accept a commission or percentage compensation of grant monies received. They can, however, be awarded bonuses in line with the hiring company’s prevailing practices. Here are some examples of average grant writing fees:

                      • Hourly rate for grant writers with less experience or fewer grants awarded: $25-$35 per hour.
                      • Hourly rate for grant writers with some degree of success: $35-$75 per hour.
                      • Hourly rate for grant writers with proven success winning large grants: $75-$150 or more per hour.
                      • For a smaller grant, the writer may charge a flat fee of $200-$500 for preparation and submission.

Pricing may also vary based on the complexity of the grant application. A federal grant that requires pages of research, budgets and a business plan may take more than 30 hours to prepare. For a high-level grant writer who charges $100 per hour, this means $3,000 or more in grant writing fees.

Most grant writers will provide you with a total cost estimate before agreeing to the work. You may be required to pay a deposit up front, or the grant writer may work from a retainer. Often, seasoned grant writers pay for themselves in the long run by writing successful grants.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
