The guys did a great job painting all of our interior trim and bonus room. They were very detailed, punctual, extremely friendly and easy to work with. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to anyone looking for a good, quality paint job.Feb 23, 2018Verified
Took too long to complete job. Ceiling in master bedroom is extremely streaked. Walls were not sanded any many places. Walls streaked. We have to hire another painting company to fix.Jan 29, 2019Verified
Jim and Jimmy were great! Who doesn’t want their house painted by Jimmy Hendrix! Here is a before and after. We went with grey to keep things simple and neutral. I would highly recommend Jim!!Jul 10, 2018Verified
His team did a good job and a lower cost than a few other estimates I received. One thing I would advise others to do is get it in writing as of a firm completion date and that walls and ceilings painted must show a consistent color and no old paint showing through.May 6, 2017Verified
It was slow, only worked a few hours at a time. wasnt able to complete the job in the alloted amount of time. And now that its over i am finding that i am haveing to redo alot of it because no wall prep was done. And coverage on wood work was spotty. And i can see the old color poking out between trim and painted wall. Just not the professional quality i expected. But he was very nice old man.Apr 3, 2016VerifiedHendricks Painting's reply
During this job my wife broke her arm and I was trying to manage doing this job and taking care of her. I tried to explain this to the customer but somehow she was not sympathetic to my situation. As far as my quality of work, if there is a question about it I always offer to come back at my expense and redo or fix it. This customer did not ask me to come back but instead opted to give me an unfavorable review. She was however, very cordial and respectful.
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I don't use standard pricing as every job is unique and is priced to fit the individual customer
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I call the potential customer, make an appointment, go to the job site and assess the project. I take the info to my office, work up a quote with a detailed outline and email it to the customer. That provides a written copy where we can make adjustments and we both know the price and the work to be done.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a college education but my training is experience and background of growing up on a farm where we did just about everything ourselves.
