A professional experience from beginning to end. Quick responses, a quote that was given as soon as I said what I was getting rid of, and no hidden costs. Quick and easy removal of all of my junk. I would definitely recommend them!May 19, 2017Verified
Did a good job, but wanted to re-negotiate price of junk removal after arriving on site. Websites like thumbtack allow me to have multiple offers for services, and allows me to take pictures if the service provider wants them. By agreeing to a price then re-negotiating on site you prevent your competition from under cutting you. I do not like this tactic considering you only have to ask for pictures. If you agree to a price you should stick to it and only increase the price if something not agreed to occurs. Only brought one guy for junk removal.Jul 23, 2017MyTruClean.com's reply
Thank you for the compliment on the job well done. We appreciate all of our wonderful customers! You say we tried to "re-negotiate" the quote for junk-removal, but that is not accurate. You requested a quote for 2-3 pickup truck-loads of junk removal, and the quote we provided, was for that. When we arrived, it was much more than 4+ truckloads that you had accumulated & added to the pile(s). Not to mention that you were adding more stuff as we went, as well as having us clean out an attic room, which was not in the quote either. We still ended up taking much more than 3 truckloads for the quoted price, because we do like to go the extra mile. We do not, however, accept being treated like dirt and taken advantage of. Threatening us with a bad review if we didn't agree to go along with the new plan for the previously quoted price, was your tactic. And I'm sorry, but that's not a good thing to do to people. When we provide a quote for a certain size job, and it ends up turning into a much bigger job, then the price must be adjusted. That is only reasonable. We approached you about it with respect and honesty, and immediately you became hostile about it and threatened us with a bad review. This obviously created a hostile situation. We offered to do the additional work for an even deeper discount, but you chose to go another route. That's your choice. Thank you, Mr. Aldrich, but we don't take kindly to doing business under anyone's intimidation tactics. It was a very unusual situation, for certain.
Excellent work and friendly people. I hired them to haul away the clutter that piled up in my yard & basement from a remodeling project. They were able to fit a surprising amount of junk onto their truck & trailer. I asked Angie about scheduling a house cleaning while they were here. She gave me a very fair price, and I scheduled my deep-cleaning. Angie & her team did an outstanding job on the cleaning as well. Thank you TruClean!May 27, 2018Verified
We had a ton of junk to get rid of, they were on time and helped us get it gathered up. The price was great for how much we had, they were friendly and helpful. They were also quick.Sep 3, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Small business, minimal overhead. We are able to keep our prices a little lower. Generally, prices are based on the size of the task, and ease of access to the areas where the job will take place. Some jobs are more labor-intensive, & therefore will cost more than others. Quotes are all-inclusive for the requested job and task description. No hidden fees! Any price adjustment or negotiation due to a change in the required task (as in additional additional services not originally requested), will be discussed and agreed upon prior to beginning.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We review customer needs & expectations, discuss job requirements, and follow-up as necessary. Most jobs can be accurately quoted online or via email, phone call or text. If an on-site estimate is necessary (i.e; very large jobs), we will accommodate the customers' schedule.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?We have always enjoyed doing maintenance and improvement work, inside and outside. •Angie’s professional training is in insurance and nursing, working in the healthcare field from 1998-2005. When the family started to grow and children sprouted, she became a full-time homemaker, neighborhood childcare provider, and administrator to the family business. The kids are all older now, and she stays busy with her cleaning team, happily providing cleanings for a variety of wonderful families and individuals. •Warren is a valid CDL license holder, a trained & practicing mechanic, and experienced general handyman. He thoroughly comprehends the inner workings of things and how to properly maintain & repair an array of such things, in several categories. He is knowledgeable and stringent in his work. He is also able to explain how things work to others who may not be so mechanically-inclined, in a way that is comprehensive & respectful. So that they know what is going on, understand what needs to be done, and why. We serve clients in both private, and commercial sectors.
