- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After doing engineering work for 28 years, I wanted to get into something of my own so I could stay at home to spend time with my family. Seems most engineering jobs require lots of travel overseas. Last job as Qc Manager required 50% travel to India, Brazil, and China. At 61 years old I prefer to be at home to watch my grand kids grow up!.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Landscaping, new, existing, tearouts, mulching, planting of trees and scrubs. We review and then make recommendations to meet the customers explantation. Lighting, as well as recomendations on sprinkler system. We use 2 crews for grass cutting but we do not do the work ourself. Landscaping is a full time job in itself. You can count on Ace Landscaping!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Landscaping is a very difficult job and requires plant knowledge to make a correct positioning of correct size and sun preface.
