Steve and his wife cooked for 33 people at a retirement sit down dinner in Beth's kitchen. We had the Caribbean dinner. It was very tasty. We had it served buffet style. He provided all the chafing dishes and platters and food. They came to set up and start cooking at the home at 4pm so it would all be very fresh and ready to serve at 7. They did some preparation the morning of and day before in their own home. We chose to provide our own plates, glasses and utensils. They also provided a veggie tray and cheese tray and warm meatballs in a chaffing dish for appetizers. Everyone especially loved the meatballs and the moderately spicy mojo chicken. The pork wasn't spicy, but I personally would have preferred some sort of spicy/fruity sauce for the pork tenderloin. Steve is flexible. He will adjust the menu and make it as you prefer. He can prepare a very wide variety of menus. He can cook in your kitchen for any family dinner or party. Steve also makes many awesome homemade cheese cakes with his meticulous 2day preparation recipe. Thank you Steve! -Reagan and Hayden Parr

We worked with Graham when he was cooking Thai food along with Myo Koongnoo. Graham's culinary skills are impressive and wide ranging. What is even better is that he is a very nice and considerate person. We highly recommend him.

I recently hired Michelle to cook for a group of 9 women, with very different tastes! Michelle went above and beyond to accommodate our group who had a variety of food allergies including gluten and dairy. She presented a menu and price I couldn't refuse! She was on-time, professional, very friendly and got to work right away. She presented each course to us and timed each course perfectly. The food was amazing (request the cheddar potato soup)! We loved having her and loved even more that when she left, the kitchen was spotless. We literally did not lift a finger the entire time she was with us! It was such a pleasure having Michelle cook for us and I would HIGHLY recommend you contact her for your private chef needs.

About

I have been a professional chef for the last 20 years, and love food! Growing it, cooking it, sharing it, and teaching about it. My past culinary career has allowed me to cook alongside some of the countries best chefs in some of the best restaurants, including Gramercy Tavern, Bouley, and Blue Hill in New York City. As well as C Restaurant in Vancouver BC, and The Marketplace right here in Asheville NC! Teaching has always been an important part of being chef, and I love sharing my knowledge and getting excited about food! We stand out in this field because I am a farmer and a chef! A lot of what we use in our cooking classes comes form right outside the kitchen! Talk about local food!!

I am in love with cooking and baking. This has been my passion for the last 15 years. I love to cook for my family and friends. It all started when I got my first job in an oil company's kitchen. There, I have learned the secrets of cooking and baking, but most of all the secrets of offering the customers the best tasting experience.

Cooking classes are provided in a 1900s cottage in downtown Asheville. Home has a cozy wood stove for intimate gatherings in the colder weather and nice outdoor area for warmer days. We provide sushi lessons, Indian cuisine, Belgian fare and more. If you want to learn about something special, let us know. We charge $50 per person with group size of up to 6. We will also travel to you if need be, but part of the experience is the cottage setting.

Janna did a personal dinner for my wife and her friends (8 total). She prepared a tasting menu that would pair well with a wine tasting. The food was fabulous and everyone enjoyed the evening. She was so easy to communicate with and to work with night of the event. I would highly recommend her for any type of chef service you need
