Introduction: I grew up playing and performing music. It’s my favorite thing to spend my time on and I play multiple instruments. I’m currently a senior at East Tennessee State University where I’m majoring in Bluegrass, Country, Old Time, and Celtic Music. I’ve performed at numerous venues for various occasions, played upright bass in a mandolin orchestra, and done a lot of studio recording as well. When I teach, I focus on exactly what the student needs to learn to reach their personal music goals. I recognize that everyone is different and I cater to the individuals unique desires. Anyone can become a great musician! I’m offering the first lesson FREE! 🎉🎉 Ps: My service “Bass Guitar” is actually the Upright Bass, but Thumbtack doesn’t have the option to name it that. Pps: My service for “banjo” is the clawhammer style not three-finger style. :) As for my video editing expertise, I’ve been editing and creating videos/slideshows for events since I was a young child. I’ve always been fascinated with putting them together and I’ve received countless compliments on the final products. I can make these little movies or slideshows for any events: weddings, baby showers, funerals, graduations, etc...

Bass Guitar Lessons

Sarah is an amazing teacher. I’ve taken upright bass from her before and we’ve just recently started lessons back up. She is very uplifting and encouraging, quick to answer your questions and makes the instrument make sense. I’ve improved immensely on the bass and it’s all because of her incredible teaching and infectious enthusiasm for music. Thanks Sarah!

I learned an entire tune during our very first Clawhammer banjo lesson. She is a good teacher and made sure I didn't move too quickly therefore helping form a strong foundation and good technique. The worst part was she left her Starbucks cup setting and I had to throw it away.

Sarah is a great teacher! I took fiddle and upright bass and she really took the time to make sure I was really getting it and improving. Now I can jam with my friends!

Violin Lessons

I’m not sure what happened here...we had to reschedule our first lesson and then she just totally stopped responding.
