Introduction: All work I do is performed as if it were my own project and therefore I do not ask my customer to be satisfied and accept my work until it satisfies my own strict standard of perfection. Additionally, as a remodeler, I strictly adhere to a belief that when complete, the project appears as if it had been done when the home was first built. I pride myself in being able to understand and interpret my customers desires through discussion and present and implement a plan that when complete matches my customer's vision. I don't quit till you are happy! I've chosen and worked in a profession for the last 40 years that leaves me feeling I've never "worked" a day in my life. Each project is like a hobby! While I might have help occasionally, I personally perform all work I quote.

Tex came when he stated and completed the first project quickly and satisfactorily. Tex also came back to readdress the second project when it did not fix the problem to a final satisfactory conclusion. I recommend him without reservation.

He was supposed to sand my floors and finish them. First of all, they were not finished when he said, causing me not to be able to move and pay for another week of rent. The upstairs floors, were stained the wrong color. The living and dining rooms looked as if they had no stain at all on them. There are rough spots all over, as if they weren't sanded properly and not cleaned good. He came back and tried to fix them, but left them in a bigger mess. There are big globs of polyurethane that I can scrape up with my fingernail. All in all, I don't think he knew how to do floors. I have done them before and mine looked better. I am very unhappy, aggravated and fursturated. I still can't move into my house until the floors are fixed!

I am sorry you feel the way you do though it unfairly characterizes all the circumstances. I realize no argument of facts will satisfy you but thought return of remuneration to the extent you specified might show my desire to make it right since my promise to work till you were satisfied was insufficient. Again, my apologies.

Each project is priced based on the work to be done. I work with the customer in the manner that best suits their needs and wishes, whether that be hourly labor, material and labor, or a contracted amount to include all labor and material.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I arrange to meet with you and discuss your plans while inspecting the site or project in question, after which I prepare and submit a written estimate of the scope and cost of the work to be done.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
40 years building, remodeling and repairing homes. Where allowed by code, I can perform all phases of work from foundation to roof except heating and air conditioning.
