We are still using Brad Thomas for various projects at the house we recently purchased. He has already begun reconstruction of a separate outbuilding which requires warmer weather for the concrete base and completion. He has completed creating and welding a perimeter steel railing around a large deck area, also reinforcing and repairing parts of the wooden deck that needed it. He has repaired and relined a fish pond in our entry area, correcting a slow leak that was entering a downstairs room. He is now installing new flooring in our guesthouse, having removed the old, buckled up linoleum. The job included adding new subflooring, installing a baseboard heater, reworking various electrical and plumbing and adding basebord around the various rooms. He is adept at carpentry and drywall. Weve found his work to be high standard - and done the way we ask it to be done. When he is not sure about how to proceed in any particular area he discusses it ahead of time with us. He does his best to stick to budget and estimate and is willing to work with whatever ideas we come up with. We will continue using Brad in the future.

Mike built a tile walk-in shower in our basement. This involved moving a toilet which I didn’t know could be done. It turned out beautiful. He also completely renovated our master bathroom. Again, he was able to solve building issues and give us exactly what we wanted. We now have a large soaking tub with porcelain tile walls and surround. He handled all the electrical and plumbing. Outside resources handled the custom cabinets and vanity tops, and Mike brought it all together. He also installed a new cabinet in our laundry room with a new sink, faucet, and garbage disposal. There were other jobs that he did for us around the house. Some were updates to a 30-year old home, and the others were embellishments. One of the most important things about Mike is that we felt comfortable with him in our house even when we weren’t home. He is an honest family man. One thing that could be better—paperwork. Getting all the paperwork and receipts was a slow process. But I know he is converting to a new computerized system to handle this, so I would not expect this to be a problem in the future.

I really enjoyed my experience with Rapid Repairs and Renovations. Travis and his team were on time (we scheduled a meeting very quickly as well), worked fast and well, and were very nice. There was a complex piece of furniture (a glass stand) for which I only had a picture and no instructions, but that was no problem at all. I am very happy I hired Rapid Repairs and Renovations.

Sanded, painted and repaired exterior wood doors. Overall the doors look much better. The weather and some communication fails caused the job to take longer than expected, but Jeff did what was asked and completed the job.

Trent Mize built a custom suite of wood outdoor furniture for me- a large 2 section 8' each sofa unit and matching coffee table. The work was built precisely and built to last (probably 200 years). It is lovely, super comfortable (I have slept on it before), and the service was courteous, knowledgeable , and very professional. I would and will use him again as the need arises.

I am listening to what you want to see and feel with updating your home. I have worked with all types of design, whether it's rustic, contemporary, traditional or if you like the whole transitional look with taking all the things you love and having them all go together beautifully with adding a "comforting" vibe. I excel in refurbishing old furniture pieces you don't want to get rid of and mix them in with pieces that your "new tastes" have chosen. We can revamp your pillows, draperies, lamps or even re-covering your lampshades in case you don't have the money right now to run out and buy all new things right at the beginning. I also love helping my clients with organization so they can have a whole cleaner, more minimized look they may want to achieve. Working with the flow in your rooms will help give every room a more harmonious look and feel. I have been in interior design for 18 years and have been with five furniture stores. This has allowed me the opportunity to have worked on numerous residential and commercial jobs and I never feel I am finished until my clients say "It's perfect".
