- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Competitive pricing for quality work. I recently had a call from a customer who had chosen a "less expensive" option, wondering if I could fix what had been done. They had saved $1000 by going with someone else, and now they're needing it fixed or replaced.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet and discuss your project, then I email a formal proposal. No high pressure sales. If acceptable, I request a small refundable deposit rather than the 1/3 most contractors require.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20 plus years in the concrete industry, as well as 20 years in a corporate environment. I learned from my Dad the importance of having a stellar work ethic and honesty, and understand from working for a publicly-traded corporation the importance of professionalism and good communication.
