FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I participate in numerous trainings each year; often resulting in significantly more hours of continuing education than is required to maintain my licensure and certification.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My best piece of advice to potential clients is "Don't settle." When looking for a therapist or professional counselor, you are recruiting specialized clinical services to help navigate your most significant life challenges. Settling for a "good enough" therapist or professional is not an option when talking about the quality of your life and the quality of your relationships with others.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish people understood how much emotional investment is required by therapists on a daily basis. Because of this, it is so important for therapists to maintain a sense of balance and self-care in their personal lives. I am very passionate about my clients and work diligently to allow myself a balance so that I can dedicate that same level of passion to my family, my children and myself.
