Latest Review: This was by far one of the best massage experiences that I've had. Not only was Conrad a talented massage therapist, but also a warm and caring educator. Before he started, Conrad asked me many questions about my body and daily activities and helped me understand how those might connect with my body's concerns. He provided me wonderful information about how my daily living contributes to my ailments and how I might incorporate new stretches to develop new strength and flexibility.
I am a life long distance runner and have plantars faciitis in my left foot and he worked wonders on it! I learned more from Conrad about my body and how PF occurs than I have from the doctors I've seen over the years. They just tell me "not to run" but never how to engage my body differently. Thanks to Conrad I've learned some new stuff and it's helped.
Conrad also helped me to understand how my anxiety could contribute to posture related back pain. I learned that we often engage in "comfort" postures to comfort ourselves! This was news to me and I'm excited by the new awareness Conrad brought to me. Since our session, I've been increasingly mindful of connecting with my body and its posture when my anxiety is high. This new awareness is particularly exciting for me as a mental health care professional.
In the past I've viewed massage as a something to do when my body hurt. But, with Conrad, my massage was more than a relaxing service. It was a holistic and caring experience—I would definitely recommend Conrad!
