Introduction: I treat my clients' pets with the same love and care as I do my own animals. I understand my clients' pets are beloved members of their family. I go beyond what is normally expected of a professional pet sitter. I have been blessed by wonderful, appreciative clients who have let me know this and that they truly appreciate what I do for their pets and for them. I love animals and enjoy the different personalities of each pet for whom I provide care. I especially enjoy taking care of special needs and elderly pets. It is rewarding knowing my clients have true peace of mind that their pets, especially in their senior years or when ill, are being very well cared for and loved - all in the safety and comfort of their own home.

Laura does a great job with my 3 cats. She's great with my 22 year old that has to take meds twice a day. My other two, who are very shy, just love her. I'd recommend her to anyone.

My cat, Daisy, is very skittish around new people, but hates being left alone for even 8 hours, so when I left town for a week, I knew I had to have someone come check in on her. I'm always nervous about letting people into my house when I'm not there, but Laura took the time to meet and talk with me and got to know Daisy before I left. I got updates every day on how Daisy was doing and seemed to do a very good job taking care of my cat while I was gone.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Important questions to ask a prospective pet sitter: What Is the pet care provider's experience? If you have a special needs pet, do they have any experience in that specific area? Is the pet sitter a pet owner him/herself? Are they fully insured (i.e., pets are covered under the insurance policy)? Are they bonded? Are they certified in pet first aid? Do they bring minor children along on the job with them? Will the pet sitting and/or dog walking be performed by them, an employee of their company or by a third party independent contractor? If the latter, is that individual covered by the insurance policy and bonding?
