FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is individual. I price each project on a per-project basis. It is important to do this, because I look at the entire project from start to finish, and give you full pricing up front. You'll have a breakdown of what everything costs before I start any work. You should have no surprises on your bill. Also, the only way that my initial pricing will change for a project is if we are in the middle of a project, and more work is added to the project. For example: If I provide a quote to you for a 10 page website, and in the middle of the project, you decide that you need to add 5-10 more pages, the price will need to be adjusted to accommodate the extra work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to, either by phone or in person (if possible) go over the entire project. I like to find out what your business needs are, and what you are trying to accomplish with your website. A lot of times, clients don't know what they need, or how to accomplish their goals. Sometimes business owners don't know what they can do with their website. I will guide you step by step through the process of building a new website that will help you achieve your business goals. We will gather all materials for your project, including existing photos, content, product information, etc. I'll help you organize everything and translate that to a great website structure. I'll also communicate directly with you, letting you know when additional information is needed, or if I have questions about your products or services, so that I can build your website to reflect the correct information and the message that you want to send to your customers.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors Degree in Graphics Design and I am an expert in Web Design, with over 10 years in the industry. Also, I am a published author on the subject of web design, with the book: The Principles of Beautiful Web Design, published by SItePoint, who is the largest web design and development publisher in the world.
