always find a trainer that is on the same page as you with your expectations and goals. If you want to show make sure the trainer or coach will be able to come to the show to help train and usually there is a small fee for this extra training. Also you must click with your trainer. nothing worse than personality clashes while you are learning to ride a 1000lbs animal.
