FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was looking for a job while I was studying Business at South College, but I could never find one that was a good fit with my treacherous schedule. I was taking 20 hours per quarter and only had a few free hours per day to work. It was during those hours that I began looking for jobs that I could do online. That is when I discovered online marketing. I began teaching myself all that I needed to know about creating websites and marketing them to people who were searching for the products and services I was promoting. By the time I graduated I was making as much or more income than many of my peers who had gotten jobs at Business and Accounting firms, so I decided to stick with what I was doing. Running this type of business gives me time to spend with my kids (10, 3, and 8 months) as well as work on my own terms. (By the way, all of my friends from college tell me they wish they would have went down the path of owning their own businesses instead of going down the career path to making someone else rich! I think I made the right decision)
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of jobs we do are web design jobs for start up businesses that are just establishing their online presence. We also do a lot of website redesign jobs for existing businesses who are looking to update their websites. Lately, we have been creating a lot of video sales letters for businesses that are starting to understand the value of video marketing. In addition, we are seeing an increase in the number of clients who need us to manage their advertising campaign on Facebook. With more than a Billion users businesses are seeing the value in hiring us to set up and manage their campaigns so they can start reaching customers and clients in areas where they are unable to reach with other forms of advertising, and to make sure their target market sees their ads.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don't base your decision on price. The thing I have heard from a lot of my clients in the past is, "I was looking for the lowest price and ended up getting the lowest quality." While we do offer lower prices than many of our competitors, we pride ourselves on the quality of work we do. If you hire a company simply because they have the lowest prices you may be disappointed with the quality of work you receive.
