- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. We know the best roof, window, and siding manufacturers and we have regular training with factory representatives. We have a special relationship with one steel supplier that allows us to provide certain high-end steel roofs that are very difficult to have installed in this area.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As professional real-estate investors, we realized years ago that it is very hard to find a good contractor. Common problems with contractors that we repeatedly had was contractors who would cover up shoddy work, contractors who would give a low ball estimate and then claim that "things change" and the price just went way up after they had started the demo. We had problems getting contractors to show up on time, to complete or clean up jobs, and to come back when there was a problem. We began to build our own company at first just to maintain our own buildings and then later to build them new. Today, we still use our own services but we also serve the local home owner, commercial property owner, and investor. We specialize in saving our customers money through energy saving upgrades, and we specifically do not do any of the bad practices that we have been victims of years ago.
