Dave did a great job in moving an air intake. His job was done perfectly. We cannot even see the old intake area he did such a good job. The new intake was perfectly installed and sealed as well.Sep 25, 2018
We hired D B Handyman Services to install new tile on our fireplace hearth and couldn’t be happier with the results or the experience we had during the project. David is a truly skilled craftsman who not only has pride in his work, but also cares about making his customers happy. Being owners of a home that is over eighty years old, we have had many occasions that required us to carry out the often annoying chore of hiring those with construction skills. We saw the travertine tile installation for which we hired David as more than your typical handyman project, but not quite big enough to hire a contractor. However, as many simple home improvement tasks are in older homes, what looked easy from the outside was not quite as straight-forward once we started preparing the site. Lucky for us, David sensed our concern and handled everything in a thoughtful and reassuring manner that gave us peace of mind so that we could relax and know that the job was going to be done right. Not only does our tile look fantastic, the floor supporting it is now more than adequate to insure that the hearth survives another eighty years. We already have David lined up for another project and are now inspired to move ahead on others that we had given up on because we didn’t believe they could be taken care of without a lot of frustration. Though I am cautious in writing such a positive review, as I want to make sure that he is available to us when we need him, he deserves as much work as he can get and it would be unfair of me not to spread the word. If you are looking for someone who is good at what he does, creative, and fair, you have found him here.Sep 30, 2016Verified
I'll update later, just starting the job, but I think he can take care of all the house projects and has experience to know how to approach the grand scheme for all of it. update: my bathroom remodel is now finished and nicey thanks to David picking up where the first lame contractor left off. He also built in my laundry area, replaced the water heater, and alot of little fixes that this house needed from some years of neglect from previous owners. My house is now lovely to live in.Apr 30, 2017Verified

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Yes, its important to keep up with building codes, and new products that come into the market to do a better job with all types of construction.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I built homes for over 25 years, and have worked in the residential arena for over 30. I have done other things very successfully, but I get a charge out of making my customers dreams and wishes reality that they can see, and I love to see a smile on their faces when I am done.
- What types of customers have you worked with? The jobs I have been doing range from full remodels/renovations to simple things like hanging wall objects. Since I do everything and do it very well, this is a hard question to answer...I replace doors, add windows, built decks and patio covers, install pavers, do minor electrical and plumbing, install tile (both wall and floor), install laminate floors, and on and on and on.
