Introduction: I do quality work, at reasonable prices. I am highly skilled and somewhat a perfectionist, so it shows in the finished product. I have never had a complaint or unsatisfied customer. I love the challenge of every job being different, and because of my skills, knowledge base, and troubleshooting ability, I am able to create, fix, or make anything in a home. I simply love my job.

When David came to our house to build a simple wooden deck and patio cover, we had no idea what we really wanted. After David drew up several possible plans, my wife and I decided we wanted to change to a pave stone patio, so David rolled with the punches and drew up several new ideas for us. We finally came to a decision and David jumped on the project. What an incredibly hard worker! His expertise in construction is evident in his work. Every joint is perfect, every cut on the money. He never got frustrated with all of the changes we threw at him and has created a backyard oasis for us that we love! Start to finish on this job was about 6 weeks, mostly because of the changes we kept making. We could not have chosen a better man for the job! I have another project down the road and hope David is available (to come back to Austin, TX) to handle it for us! Thank You David!

David Binder can do it all -- construction, repairs, lighting, electrical, flooring, you name it. We hired David to install a new floor in our den, install new lighting fixtures and "under the counter" lighting in our kitchen, create a closet and install new exterior / interior wall covering where a window unity had been located. David did outstanding work in all areas. He is especially gifted with floor transitions from room to room and excels in his work. We were impressed with his thorough communication, reasonable costs, and attention to details. We will definitely have David come back for more projects in the near future. No doubt, he is the best handyman we have ever hired in our 27 years of home ownership!

David helped us inside and out to upgrade our 30+ year old home for sale. He created inexpensive and effective solutions to repair and occasionally replace items such as patio door, outdoor and interior trim replacement, stained interior walls and ceilings and many suggestions for DIY activities that have saved us $1000s during our remodeling. David is a man of the highest integrity, worth much more than his modest rates!

Phenomenal. Magnificent. Stellar. My wife and I are blessed to find a person who is more than qualified than any other handyman or residential contractor out there in the internet. David has been helping, and still is at this time, us complete our home from framing stage to finishes. He has extensive knowledge and wisdom that can be seen in all aspects of his craftsmanship. If you need to check his reference, like any other sane person would do, please contact me. You'll be lucky to have him working on your project. There really is no job too big or too small that he can't turn into Gold.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Yes, its important to keep up with building codes, and new products that come into the market to do a better job with all types of construction.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I built homes for over 25 years, and have worked in the residential arena for over 30. I have done other things very successfully, but I get a charge out of making my customers dreams and wishes reality that they can see, and I love to see a smile on their faces when I am done.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

The jobs I have been doing range from full remodels/renovations to simple things like hanging wall objects. Since I do everything and do it very well, this is a hard question to answer...I replace doors, add windows, built decks and patio covers, install pavers, do minor electrical and plumbing, install tile (both wall and floor), install laminate floors, and on and on and on.
