Thank you Parris! You are a joy to work with, and I am honored to be there with you on your journey!
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Lessons are $50/half hour and $100/hour. I offer clients either 30 minute or full hour sessions. We also offer packages of 5, 10, or 20 sessions. Discounts are available for package offers.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Every student is unique not only in where they are vocally, but in their learning style. Whether working with myself, or one of my staff, every student is handled according to where they are. With new clients, we have what is called an initital assesment. They come in, we meet, we have an ice breaker with them that is a little more in-depth than your typical introduction, and then we have them sing something accapella. Only then do we decide what to tackle first vocally.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I hold a Bachelors from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Music with a concentration in voice, and do a lot of research in the area of vocal pedagogy to stay current on the latest methods and breakthroughs in vocal health. I also hold a Masters from Grand Canyon University in Psychology with an emphasis in Life Coaching. I believe in working not only on the craft of singing, but working on our mental blocks that may prevent growth. I am currently working towards my Doctoral degree in Philosophy with an emphasis in Performance Psychology.
