FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am partial to using a Canon camera, so I signed up for continuing education classes through Canon Live Learning. They offer various tips on their website, as well as through Facebook.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common job is family photography. There isn't a huge demand for landscape and animal photography, which is what I started doing on my own so I branched out to my family and friends and asked to take their photos. After really getting a good hand on edits, I decided to go ahead and begin shooting professionally. Families can often be the most difficult to shoot because there are so many different people and movements to capture, but I very much enjoy it.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I'm always proud of every job I book! I always get that 'one' shot that just makes my clients so happy. Seeing how thrilled they are to share with their family and friends is the most rewarding part, and knowing they will refer me later on and having created that lasting relationship makes this competitive career absolutely worth doing!
