FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography. I am always seeking out new techniques, reading about other photographers, and looking through magazines to get inspiration. Amazon has become an addiction...there are so many good books out there about photography. I constantly strive to better myself so that I can provide you the customer both an excellent experience and a some pretty amazing photographs.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
WOW a loaded question! My parents did not have cameras growing up. We were poor and couldn't really afford anything that was not a necessity. I was always fascinated with them and the concept of capturing a moment for a lifetime. I started working since I was 14 years old. I saved up my money and bought...a skateboard (yes I know not the answer you were looking for) after I skateboarded I got into snowboarding. I would work, save up money, and then go play. When I was 16 I thought that I could be a professional photographer photographing pro boarders. This did not come to pass. Several years later 9/11 happened and I dropped out of my second year at a University and joined the United States Marine Corps. I got married, did a tour, and got out. I went back to school, this time I decided to go to school for photography. I was hooked. I knew this was exactly what I wanted to do. That was in 2009. I know have 3 kids and do photography full time.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
