I had never used any professional firm for managing the accounts and taxes for my food business. I used a couple of online applications like Quick Books and didn’t’ think much about it. As it turns out, that wasn’t enough. We received a notice from the IRS about discrepancies in our accounting records and a 30 day period to pay taxes over $15k. I got in touch with Legacy Tax & Resolution Services through a friend who said good things about them. Their accountants reviewed my books and asked a lot of questions about my business payments and income. They informed us that a lot of information was missing in the books and prepared amended returns for submission to the IRS. In the end we still had to pay taxes of more than $4,150, which was inconvenient but still better than paying the whole $15,000. I am relieved that at least the taxes are done and over with. The tax service is great.May 28, 2018Legacy Tax & Resolution's reply
Thanks Edward for the kind words. Only wish we could have gotten it down to Zero.
