Introduction: Being a bartender is about so much more than pouring drinks - it's a true craft. I deliver excellent service by respecting the art of tending bar in two ways: The first: knowing my stuff. I understand how to properly mix a wide variety of drinks from memory. This includes 'classic' drinks like martinis and margaritas to more modern drinks like Long Island Iced Teas and specialty shots. The second: understanding that a good bartender is only as good as the service he or she provides. I reject the 'snooty' bartender persona and strive to be friendly and respectful to all. I ensure that I am always promptly on time to and dressed appropriately for the event. By honoring these basic rules and some more, I respect the craft of bartending, which in turn delivers an excellent bartending experience for your event! I love serving people, and for some reason, I especially enjoy serving drinks to people. I enjoy the art of mixing a cocktail, but even the simple act of opening a beer or pouring a glass of wine is a pleasure for me. I started learning about bartending because I was interested in making drinks, but I've stuck with it for the enjoyment that comes from serving others.
