DJ Jazzy J did a great job every song that was requested was played on time… also did a great job with announcing the wedding party by name and having the photo booth was amazing

I have to say that i normally give grace when things don’t go the way things are planned but i am thoroughly disappointed about the experience with DJ Jazzy J. My partner and I established a contract for her services in March for our wedding in September. I found her to be not responsive. We literally had to chase her and ask to for time to discuss the wedding plans. She kept pushing us off saying that she didnt like to discuss those details until we were 2 weeks from the wedding. When we finally met with her, we shared detailed information ahead of our meeting. She rescheduled the day before and then was late to our meeting. When she showed up it was clear she had not read or prepared for the meeting. And my favorite part…with the wedding scheduled to occur in 10 days she sends a text saying that she didnt feel right about our meeting and wasnt going to do the wedding. Fortunately, she returned our money but it is extremely unprofessional and left us scrambling to find a reliable dj. In an industry where service matters, we didnt get any of that from her. Beware.

I Hired DJ Jazzy to play at my daughter sweet 16 Birthday. She showed up on time, but her style of playing was just not right for the occasion. I did not have a list, but give her an idea of the music I wanted her to play. She went ahead and played whatever she wanted to play anyways. When I suggested she change the music n give her some ideas she said she didn’t know the music I was talking about. She charged a total of 320, with me giving her a 100 deposit, 1 hr after she start playing she constantly asked me to send the balances to her Paypal. I was very disappointed and would not recommend this DJ if your looking for a good DJ Update: Jan 23 2019 I am not sure why 8 months later ur going back n fort. I stand by my review...you knew it was last minute when I called you a few days before. We agreed on me giving you a 100.00 deposit n the rest before the end of the party. You constantly kept asking me for the money like every 15 mins. I paid you as promised before the end of the party. The bottom line here is, I was the host that paid u for ur service at my daughter Sweet 16 Birthday party, your job I believed was to first n foremost play to please my daughter. I did asked u serval times to change the music n you kept playing what I told u we didn’t want.

I remember that you stated you would pay me $100 for the first hour for me to get there and setup, you said when you arrived you would pay me the rest. I remember playing every song your daughter and her friends requested.
