FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have a full time staff of professionals to answer our phones and emails 7:30 am -5:30 pm Monday through Friday. We schedule chimney sweeping appointments, Safety Inspections and Estimates depending on the customers needs for our services. We will set up a time and date that works for the customer. We call the day before the appointment to verify if the scheduled time is still good for the customer. Our certified technicians will arrive and complete the work that the customer needs. Our office staff will call the following day to make sure the customer was satisfied with our service and we will answer any questions or concerns at that time. It is imperative that we provide excellent service and the customer was happy with our service.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the chimney industry for over 30 years. I am the current president for the Chimney Safety Institute of America CSIA.org. This non profit organization certifies chimney professionals and educates homeowners about fireplaces and chimneys. All of our technicians are also certified through the CSIA. Our technicians also carry the Certified Dryer Technician credential for work on dryer vent cleanings and maintenance.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began in the chimney industry after experiencing a chimney fire as a young man. When I was in college, I read about the growing need for chimney sweeping and repairs so I started my business at the age of 18.
