Working with Ben has been wonderful-- Lessons are always fine tuned specifically to what I need to focus on each week, and advanced techniques are taught with patience and attention to detail. He teaches not only musical technique, but also practice habits and listening skills for a variety of genres that prepare you for playing professionally with groups. I have seen incredible progress in my music since I've started lessons with him and his lessons have been excellent!

Ben taught me the first things I ever learned on bass, in 2014. He had a clear and friendly teaching style when I studied with him, and has undoubtedly grown in the years between then and now! Definitely give him a try if you want to learn more in your musical journey.

Ben was an excellent teacher and mentor to my son. His encouragement, patience and positive attitude really helped my son to grow and develop as a bass player. I credit Ben for instilling an early enjoyment of the instrument. We wish Ben still lived nearby!!
